7 Weeks and Slow Fetal Heartbeat

Just came back from 7 week u/s and the embryo/fetus is bigger and there is a definite heartbeat but it is not at the beats per min it should be. It is very slow. Anyone been in a similar situation and had a successful outcome?? Need hope as I got back in 4 days for my next sonogram.

Yea how slow are we talking? My daughter's HR was on the slower side at my first U/S with her around 10wks, the BPM was around 110... She's fine. Crazy 4 year old.

They didn't give specifics, but what I saw on the screen was in the 80's and they said it should be at least 100. They were having some trouble at first getting on the doppler, but they could easily see it "fluttering". However, the embryo has grown from last week so I am trying to be optimistic.

My 6 week ultrasound showed that my baby's Heart rate was 98. I asked the nurse and she said thats pretty normal for a baby this small and still so undeveloped....hope everything is good

Unfortunately, my HCG levels dropped at the last sonogram. The baby didn't get any bigger and the heartbeat was barely detectable. I am now getting prepared to try to miscarry naturally.
