Nausea/Dizziness

Hi ladies!

I'm in week 5 and the nausea has hit me hard this week.  Anyone else having this yet?  Any tips on how to cope?  I've been trying to keep a little bit of food on my tummy at all times but I also have pretty bad dizziness in the morning so that doesn't always help.

Thanks!

Re: Nausea/Dizziness

  • I'll take any advice too! I'm 4 weeks on Sunday and I'm already feeling weird and nauseous in the morning. Luckily I haven't thrown up yet. I had a really good BFP at 10 dpo so I think my body is releasing a lot of hormone really fast. I just remind myself that the symptoms mean everything is working and that makes them better to me. Hang in there!

  • Ok, so since I last posted my symptoms got much worse!

I had a 36 hour span where I couldn't keep anything down.  I'm keeping things down now, but still feel very exhausted/woobly/dizzy.  I called the doc office and they gave me some meds (class A) and they have helped a great deal.  Also, not letting myself get hungry helps so much!  If my stomach starts growling from hunger, I get intense nausea a few minutes later.  So I'm constantly eating, staying away from aversions, and that seems to help.

  • Constant snacking on simply carbs all day every day was the only thing that helped me. I basically sipped ginger ale and ate crackers nonstop. Keeping food in my stomach at all times helped somewhat.
