Purple foods?

Hi, I haven't posted here in quite some time so I hope you don't mind me asking a question. Do purple sweet potatoes have to be trialed separately than orange sweet potatoes? Or if baby can have orange then purple is ok? Same question for carrots. (From store bought baby food)

    I've always treated them as a separate food, but I'm not sure if that's just me being super over cautious or not...
