When did you get an ultrasound?

i am getting my first ultrasound this week, but I was wondering when the next one after that typically is?

Usually your next would be if you opt to do the first trimester screening (my doctor does that between 10 and 14 weeks). If not, then probably not until the anatomy scan around 20 weeks.

It really depends on your doctor. I've had doctors only do a few and I've had doctors (my current) that do them at every appointment. A lot of different factors play into that I believe.

Yes it depends on doctor and situation such as myself I got one at eight weeks because I didn't know when my Last period was and I got type 2 diabetes so I'll be getting another at 12 weeks and then at about 16 and so on

It depends on your doctor, so much. According to my insurance, I only need ONE (at 20 weeks) and that's it.

Since I opted in for genetic screening, I'm going to be getting one at 12 weeks so they can look at the baby's nuchal translucency, but I'll be happy to see the kiddo at all at that point. A lot of people on here have seen theirs, and I haven't seen mine.
