Elijah Neal joined us at 11:43 P.M. On Friday December 5th, 8 days past his EDD. He weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz. and was 21 in. long.
My water broke just minutes before the doctor was about to administer round 4 of gel and it all took off from there. Will post full birth story later. I can't believe we've already had him for a week! Not enough time in the day to give him all my loves!
Hello ladies. I'm originally a D14 mommy but my little man decided a December birthday was not what he wanted so please allow us to introduce ourselves to N14. (I've been lurking for a week or so now that we're settling in at home.) I'm a FTM and Kellen Skip took us by total surprise arriving four weeks early at 36 weeks 1 day on November 18, 2014 at 11:53 am. My water broke at home at 9:30 am and he stormed into the world just over two hours later. (Vaginal delivery without the epidural I planned for since he arrived so quickly. I was 8 cm when I got to the hospital). He was a little small- just 5 lbs 5 oz and 18 inches- but he's healthy as a horse. He came home on 11/20 and we're all doing great. He's already over 6lbs and 19 inches so the pediatrician is thrilled. I'm so in love and totally obsessed with him. Looking forward to sharing this experience with you all. Congratulations to all the mammas on all the beautiful N14 babies!
Lexington Grace was born 11/18 weighing 6lb 14oz and 22in long! We are so in love with our little girl:))
Birth Short Story: Induced at 38w 5d, pit started and water broke 20 min later...epi didn't work and I progressed very quickly from a 3 to a 10 to 5 min of pushing and she was out. Most painful thing ever but oh so worth it!:)
ETA - so I don't know why that posted. Weird. I guess I'll write something here quick then! Avery Iris was born on November 7th at 11:26am via repeat csection. The csection went great. She was a tiny little bug at 5 lbs 11 ozs. We had to stay in the hospital longer than expected because she had trouble breast feeding (which lead to pumping only and now I EFF) and was is lactose intolerant so the formula my hospital used wasn't agreeing with her and she was spitting most of it up. We had to wait for a paediatrician to prescribe a different formula and then we had to made sure she was taking it. By the time we left the hospital she was 5lbs 4ozs and we were put through a bit to make sure our carseat would support such a low weight. It was fine. My nurses were AMAZING. Avery is now gaining weight like a champ! Yay!
Team Green turned Team Pink on 11/28/14 when we welcomed DD2. She was born at 8:16 am and weighed 10 lbs 6 oz and was 20 inches long. Daddy, Momma and Big Sister are in love!
Lily Grace Reifenberger was born November 27, 2014 (Thanksgiving day) my water broke at 1:30 am we got the car loaded and got to the hospital at 1:45 am. The nurse checked me to see my dilation and verify my water did indeed break. I was already a 5, by 1:50 we were in my room. Around 4 am I couldn't take the pain any longer and got the epidural. When the nurse came back in to put in my catheter she checked me and I was already an 8, if I had known that beforehand I wouldn't have gotten the epidural. I was turned to my left side. At 5 I thought it was wearing off because I could feel contractions on my left side and my left leg was no longer numb, so I paged the nurse and told her. she checked me and saw my baby girls head and said it was time to push. We waited a little bit longer for the doctor to finish up with the delivery he was in at the time. At 6:30 I couldn't wait any longer so we started pushing. 6:45 my princess was born, weighing 8 pounds 8 ounces and 20 inches long.
I haven't posted on this birth page in awhile! I was expecting baby #3 & had two boys. Team Green turned PINK on 11/18 we named her Olive, she weighed 8lbs 9oz 21 in long! She was due on the 24th but I was induced early (6 days). We are so in love with her & can't imagine our family without her!
I haven't been here in forever, but I just wanted to announce the birth of my daughter, Eliana Dervila. She was born Nov. 18th via emergency c section (induced at 39 weeks because I was contracting every day for four weeks straight with no cervical progress. After 48 hours, an epidural, catheters, etc, I was only 4 centimeters dilated and she started palpitating) at 5:11 am. She was 7 lbs, 3.5 oz and 19 inches long. I stayed for 4 days, and went home with her around Thanksgiving.
She is amazing and so alert and clever! She's almost 2 months and already smiling and rolling over!
I was not dilated or effaced at my 40 and 1 day check up, so induction was scheduled for 41 and 1 weeks. They started me Monday evening 11/24/14 with cytotec, the monitor said I had contractions, just a little back pain, only dilated a cm from that, so they did the folley bulb which gotme to five cm then they started pitocin, so i got the epidural, the monitor said i was having too many contractions and not long enough and she was still high and postierior, so at 5 they suggested c section, prepped for the OR and she was born at 6:30pm 11/25/14. 8 lbs 10 oz 20 inches long Bristol Faith.
Super late here but Jamison Luban was born on 11/18/14, 3 days before his due date, at 4:54 pm, measuring 6lbs 7oz and 20 inches long. He's an absolute angel and he's growing like a weed! He was in the 20th percentile at birth and is now in the 90th.
Welcome our beautiful Olivia Victoria born 11/5/2014 at 11:39am, 6.8 lbs, 19 inches. We are totally in love! Congrats to the rest of the November 2014 moms!
Edison "Eddie" Henry was born 11/23 7 lb 10 oz 20.5 inches. Born @ 9:31pm via c section after 22 hours of labor. Healthy, happy and loving life! He's our first!
I haven't posted on here in over a year, so a bit late to the party, but Gabriel Heath was born at 37+3 weeks on October 20th 8:07pm. He's my best friend and my whole world. Sorry no pics as in dont like posting his pictures on public forums x
I know super late! We welcomed my beautiful Tiauna Luraine into the world at 12:39pm on November 7th. She was 2 weeks early. Weighed 4lbs and 15oz, 17 1/4 inches long and absolutely perfect!
