Yes! DS2 was so excited to watch it, it was cute.
DD has this as the book. She loves it, however she is now adamant that she gets a little sister and we name her Margaret. -_-
That's so funny. Both boys want the baby to be a brother, but I keep telling them that we don't get a choice. Hopefully, if it is a girl, it will go over with him easier. He laughed and laughed when Margaret pulled the plates and stuff down and when she got ahold of Tigey, like full on belly laughs.

I just discovered that the ribs I put in the crockpot 3 hours ago and bragged about in the what's for dinner post weren't cooking the whole time because I forgot to plug it in... Cooking them anyways and hoping they'll be good still. They should be right?? They were in a closed crock pot for 3 hours

My husband spent a lot of time in Kenya before we met and had kids and we have good friends that spend 3 years on and off living in different parts of Africa to help local hospitals, villages, and wildlife preserves. It is really gross that someone can throw around a ton of money to have multiple people bait a lion and then kill it with a high powered cross bow. You want to impress me, go freaking kill a bear with a pocket knife. It's a gross show of money and power and considering we are already doing enough to kill off animals without murdering them for show, I think people should care that people with money can buy themselves anything, including lives.
Oh, I think it's totally disgusting that he killed the lion and paid a gazillion bucks to do it, but I just think it's so blown out of proportion. 1 guy 1 animal when there are tons of worse things happening that we never hear about in the news like the genocide of Palestinians, etc...
What's really concerning about it is that the lion population in Africa has dropped like 40% or something drastic like that in the past few decades. That's not a promising statistic.

However, I do not think TB is a place to touch on what is going on between Israel and Palestine.

@nickicb7 my best friend and I have been best friends for 12 years now, since we were 11 years old.. Over the ears there have been many times where we fell out for months at a time without talking because of boyfriends or different interests, especially in high school. I play sports year round and she hates anything that involves any type of energy.. We both also had "serious" boy friends through out high school who were two totally different people so they hated double dates .. But when we talked it was like nothing had changed. Now that we are in our twenties we both realize we are busy, but we talk almost daily even if it's just "good morning, have a good day" .. We made a promise that we would never let our lives get in the way of our friendship. I still talk to a few people I went to school with, but she is the only one I love and care about. If I don't hear from her by the time I get to work I reach out to her. It feels good to always know that I will have that one person even if we only really talk when we "have time" .. She is my family & I'm lucky to have her. She has started dating a new guy and is already all about him, but I've learned I need to just be happy for her because I know I will always have her when I really need her. Just let her know everyday you are thinking of her .. Or at least weekly.. Even if it's just "hey have a good day!" She will eventually start reaching out to you more too!
@KaraEpp16 I have read that thread twice now and I just CANNOT with it. It is hilariously horrible. The PB comment really is the best but I have such a hard time believing it. Like if the dog is small enough to get on you and have at your bewbs push the damn thing off. My reaction to all of that is:
Confession: The first thing I look at in the HDBD photos is the background. I secretly judge people who post photos of their messy rooms/bathrooms. I'm not looking at your bump...I'm looking at the mountains of dirty laundry that a tornado must have deposited in your bedroom (ps...If you are a dirty room offender, I apologize for being a jerk. But seriously. Clean up a bit before you snap 'dem photos).

I hate my new job. Legit cry every day, hate it. I've been here for 6 weeks, I need something with benefits, so I'll suck it up.
However, I really want a beer. Forced sobriety coupled with a move to a new state and a shitty job is brutal. Today while daydreaming of a frosty cold IPA, I remembered my dream from last night where I got absolutely hammered. But being the responsible pregnant lady, forced the bartender to pour my beers into small cups, since I read that a little beer won't hurt.

Haha, @mamaksweez! Sorry!! I teach a few sections of photo at the high school I work at (not that I'm by ANY means an expert), and I'm always teaching my kids about "background." The (amateur) photographer doesn't usually think about it, but if there are distracting elements in the photo, it's all the viewer will look at. It's one of my biggest pet peeves!!

LOL toilets in the pics always freak me out. I have posted a HBDB pic twice and the first one had a barren mattress in it and I felt like it looked like a crack den. I definitely put up a disclaimer though. Those posts they have online titled "should have looked in the background first" are always amazing with fat naked dudes of dildos hahaha.
