Hip pain and heartburn have been my gripes his pregnancy!! Sometimes the hip pain is so bad it takes my breathe away to stand up. Also he chicken pox which was hell on earth as could hardly take anything for it and it was so much worse than just itchy spots!! Earlier on in the pregnancy I had horrid morning sickness!! This pregnancy has been a real struggle but is such a blessing, so different to when I was pregnant with my son.
I am 19+2 and my hip pain is unbelievable. I can't lay on my left side for more than 10 minutes and I had to buy a ridiculous pregnancy pillow just to get some sleep at night.
Also I have erythema nodosum on my legs, which cause these horrid swollen red hot lumps that hurt like crazy, especially when I run, which is the only thing that helps my hips feel better!
My lower back (right side) has hurt my entire pregnancy, but now my right leg feels sore a lot. It is starting to hurt any time I drive or keep my leg bent too long. It feels like I worked out and didn't stretch. I spoke to the nurse and she recommended the ER, but after speaking with her more she said she would talk to the doctor and call me tomorrow. I really do not want to go to the ER because that is not a fun bill to pay. I originally called because yesterday was bad, but today has been better. I really thought she would just give me some good stretching ideas.
Does anyone else have this sore feeling more in one leg over the other? I know the nurse was worried about blood clots, but I do not have any other symptoms for a clot and really feel like my back pain plays a part in my leg pain. Just looking for feedback while I wait to see what my doctor thinks.
Blood clots feel hot to the touch as well usually. However sometimes it could be he start of a varicose vein. If it gets worse I would def go see the dr. @SomedayInMyArms
My feet are now beginning to get so sore after 12 hour shifts. I'm going to get some compression socks today hopefully will help with the leg and feet fatigue.
I was having really nasty sciatic nerve pain and my right thigh was even starting to get numb when I stood too long. I got a foam trigger point roller and so far it's worked really well. I especially use it a lot on my sacrum and glutes/hips. There are a lot of videos and blogs on pregnancy and foam rollers, just google. It might hurt a little at first, especially on the sides of your glutes, but that means that they're insanely tight--they'll loosen up the more you use it.
Baths definitely help the RLP! Mine has been SO bad. I feel like my abdominal wall is slowly being ripped apart. Any other tips?
For me my lower intestine is my biggest problem. I mean i'm a bit stiff, A bit oof when i get up and down now but nothing i'd say is strong enough to elicit complaints.
The backed up bowel is probably the only thing that is consistently bothering me right now.
Achy swollen boobs and nipple pain that seemed like it happened overnight. They started leaking same day, too. It felt like I could hear my bra straps begging for mercy while I shopping for a new one. I was afraid they would break before I got home. Lol
Ah yes. I forgot. Boob allergies. Which are as weird as they sound. My boobs get red and itchy after using most any product anywhere near them. With long hair that i wash, it's impossible to keep product totally away from them. It's ugly and gross and annoying.
@audriannamaria, I'm super late to the party but what you have really could be heartburn. I only get heartburn in my back. It feels like a concentrated ache/pain in the very middle of my back between my shoulder blades. However, I don't know why they are telling you to take Tylenol. Most over the counter antacids (tums, Pepcid, etc) are all okay to take. I take the Costco version of Pepcid AC all the time and it works like a charm.
I feel it in my inner thighs which I thought was strange but I also am pretty petite and wondering if the weight I've gained has something to do with it. Plus my son decided he wanted to squish down in my pelvis today which is fun. I'm officially waddling (my husband also had to rub that one in) at 20w 2d and I'm really not impressed.
At 21w3d, round ligament and joint pain are the worst. Hurts down to my knees! I'm also consistently exhausted, still waiting on that second trimester energy.

Crazy inner thigh pain. On and off. Some days I can barely walk. Fun! And some days it extends into the lower pelvic area.
Painful gas. Yep. Also fun.
Random cramps and pains.
Very strange feeling, not really a pain: the hunger feeling is like 6 inches higher than it usually is. It's weird.
