Wow beautiful names everyone! We are team green edd dec. 3rd and have a list. We will finalize the name when we meet him or her. Girls names are Lainey, Ivy, Kyra, Lydia, Noelle, Fiona, or Savannah. I know DH has a favorite but I kind rotate between which one I like the best. Was fun to see that other people like Noelle/Noel!
I'm in love with our name choice if this one is a girl. Ebba Darleen. Possible nicknames are Ebbie and Miss Bee (Deborah means "bee" and Ebbie to sound like Debbie). We wanted a strong name and it honors hubby's grandmother and my mother, Deborah (went by Debbie) and Debra. My mother's middle name is Eileen so we changed the spelling in Darlene to fit it. They are the two strongest female influencea in mine and hubby's lives so it was important to both of us that we honor them.
We are down to two and will likely make our final decision once we see her face.

Polly, as in "want-a-cracker", after a little girl I knew once and quite admired. Who moved away and I can't find. She has been on my mind for twenty years.
Her middle name will be chosen by my in-laws so we have very little control over that.
as a side note... Olive was my great grandmother's government name, for lack of a better term. It was bestowed upon her to replace Waitee. And while we don't want to honor that terrible time in my country's history, we grew up knowing her as Nanna O and Olive was a gentle, intelligent and beautiful soul. Waitee was her Mi'kmaq name and if we go with Olive, we want to make sure to caveat that with Waitee.
If we have a girl I am leaning to Eleanor (Ellie) Wendy.
I know it doesn't flow, but Wendy is a family, and very important name so we will use it no matter what!!

I know that it's a name of an actress but i love the name regardless and u didn't have the actress in mind when i came up with it but we picked out Evangeline Lilly for a girl. We find out on the 13th what we're having
