I just need to find another pregnant woman out there who is working 40 plus hours a week, who hates their job and is tired of being pregnant. I am losing my cool and just need to vent to someone. There are days I don't know how I am going to make it to the middle October? I think if I have someone else I know struggling in misery maybe that could help.
Re: Anyone else working full time??
I used to come home and work out and clean and then crash for the night. Recently however i find myself nodding off in traffic driving home.
I told a customer last week, "Next time you need a favor, you can go somewhere else and fuck yourself." (Then hung up) ...Not my proudest moment. But he was being an asshole and making my company look bad, when it was his company that sucks. Thankfully, my boss agreed with me and we laughed about it later.
I'm a manager and things I would normally let roll off my back, I just down people's throats about.
I'm sure the whole office is ready for me to be on maternity leave!!
But 6 weeks later, I'll be right back!
Sooo much YES to this!!!!
And where you said "your lack of planning does not constitute as an emergency" is soooooo on point! AT LEAST once a day I get off the phone with someone who was a total asshole on the phone to me about how they're out of medication and it's an emergency. I tell them it's near the end of the day and I can't guarantee it'll get filled until the next day as we have a 24 hour refill policy. Then they scream about how they take this daily and they're out and need it now and I don't understand that it's an emergency.
Oh no, I understand that you take this pill daily and saw and knew that you were getting low and instead of being responsible and planning ahead and calling a few days ago you waited until you were out.
I literally get off the phone and say to the nurses "a lack of planning on your part does not constitute as an emergency on my part."
I was usually ok at my job and overall liked it . Lately, and since pregnancy the struggle is REAL! (So hating it) I hope one day I can afford to be a sahm. I will be taking as long as humanly possible for my maternity leave .
me every morning before work. lol
I'll tell you what makes me rage though – the people on the subway and bus who won't give up their seat! Every day I am shocked, especially at the "manspreading" – men who take up 2 seats with their spread legs. Is it THAT necessary that you not close your legs while sitting? Like, is your penis going to fall off if you keep your legs closed for 15-20 minutes??
