Turmeric safe while nursing?

has anyone taken turmeric while nursing? I just got my period back and turmeric with milk has always helped me with cramps , was really hoping to drink it. I've searched it but can't find much info.

    yes, tumeric is ok.  I used it to help reduce inflammation in swollen breasts bc I engorge easily.  

    the only precaution I found was to not use supplement pills.  but it sounds like you are sprinkling the powder in milk which is fine.
    I love tumeric!
