I know that this was a previous post but I couldn't find it, and I am sure some of us are much further along than last time!
How is everyone's nursery going? We had our second shower Saturday, so we have so much of the big stuff done! We are still waiting for our glider to come and I ordered the wall decals last night, but most of the big stuff is done in ours! We also need to get sheets in the crib.
I can't wait to add things to the wall, I feel like it will be so much more homey. I am a little nervous about hanging up things above the crib, so we are doing the string with clothes pins with pictures instead of frames. We got a Dr Suess wall decal that I am super pumped about also.
Any tips on organizing the closet? That is the one thing that is still a bit of a mess.
So cute! @awells189 I love the rug and hamper, such good patterns! We're moving five days before my EDD ( ( ) so my "nursery photos" would just be a stack of well-organized boxes, boo, but I love seeing pictures of others!
I have a dumb question, though. You both have pillows in your cribs--do you take them out every time the baby is in them and put the pillows back in, or do you just lay the newborn down with the pillows at the feet? Am I overthinking the pillows in the crib thing?
We're doing gray chevron too! I'd upload pics but it's a mess. And my sister is going around with storkcraft about the dresser. It didn't go together correctly and who know how long before we get a replacement.

Thanks! When he gets here we'll take the pillows out just to be on the safe side
I have the boppy in there right now, just because I wasn't sure where else to put it. They will probably end up on the glider or on the floor lol. I am not really going to have anything in the crib other than the sheet.

Here is my nursery. Haha!!! SOOO anxious for it to be done, everything takes just a few days more than we anticipate, though, so I feel like it's the never ending project!! (
So far this is all I have done... I have 2 more weeks of work then will be in full nesting mode! We're big New York Islander (hockey) fans so that's the theme. My dad got us the storm trooper pic (he has the islander logo on him) and the jersey pic with our last name on it.
@jbettles if it makes you feel better, that is what my nursery looks like. I want to finish it so badly, but with a test next Monday I can't get to it until the 15th being huge doesn't help either, everything seems to take longer!
My due date is oct. 3rd but I sometimes pop over here since he may come early. Here's the crib wall all complete. The rest of the room is still under construction ha!
Ours is mostly done, We just need to add a few knicknacks to empty shelves. I"m also waiting for some more art for some of the walls and our Tardis nightlight.
Believe it or not that canopy was a gift for my son's room 14 yrs ago! Lol the only thing it was a boy canopy with Mickey mouse on top n all boy color ribbons, I took everything off n I made it girly lol
@yessirio precious room but is the canopy a SIDS hazard bc it blocks air flow and a choking hazard when they roll/move? I bet it would be adorable over a chair or in a reading nook!

Ty for ur concern but this is the 3rd time I used this canopy, it has tiny little holes so is definitely not blocking any air... n the canopy is not inside is actually outside the crib, as soon as my baby starts standing up the canopy will be removed, like I said I used it for my 14 yrs old n my 9 yrs old... Thank you...
