Since we are a very food obsessed group, what's for lunch today ladies?
I'm going to my favorite Lebanese place to get a massive plate of Tabbouleh. I cannot wait.

Re: What's for lunch today?
Listeria is something that can contaminate a lot of different foods, not just lunch meats.
DD - January 2016
I had a steak burrito from Moe's! It was grrrrrrrreat!
I was just passing along the information I got and the experiences I've had/heard about. I think some clinics are more strict and some are a little more lenient. I'm not going to tell anyone to go against what their OB has said, ever.
I was told that everything on the typical "no-no" list is fine in moderation. You said that the whole idea of pregnancy is that you stay informed and to use the information in a way that works best for you. In my post, I gave information - I received from my provider - regarding certain types of meat that are recommended due to the fact that there are no nitrates. I also provided information about pre packed meats because the chances of them being contaminated is a lot less than the meats you get at the deli counter. Information and options!
Well, what works best for me in my pregnancy is eating a sandwich once a week if or when I have the urge.
