Honest sunscreen

I know a lot of moms on here, including myself, are Honest fans, so I wanted to share the below article. Apparently there are a lot of unhappy customers when it comes to their sunscreen - claiming they or their children got very burnt after applying and reapplying as directed. I haven't used their sunscreen personally but love the products I have used so I was surprised to read this.

    That's awful!! We have been using Coopertone water babies Pure & Simple and have been very happy. I am very cautious (maybe too much) about my LO being in the sun, as she is as fair complected as I am, but have not had an issue with this....Usually combined with shade or other coverage on her skin. I might try it on myself here soon though, after reading that article. How awful!

    I used the sunscreen on myself this weekend while working in the yard and got burnt. I was only outside about 3 hours and reapplied at least 4 or 5 times because I could see it sweating off. Not going to be using it again.

    I'm still in love with some of their other products though!

    Wow! I'm glad Target was sold out when I went last week! Used Babyganics today and it worked fine... though like a pp said, it's really just a last line of defense... I still make every effort to keep her completely in the shade.

    Same here! I was bummed to see they were sold out and ended up with Aveeno Baby instead. I had it on DD for the first time this weekend and also mostly in the shade but it seemed to work. If I'm not mistaken the Honest brand would have been at least a few dollars more expensive too.
