Poor LO is dealing with thrush right now but now I'm noticing she is crying during feeds... Doctor wants to finish meds for thrush in case the pain is from the thrush but my gut is telling me it's silent reflux...she gulps and sounds like she's swallowing spit up back down after feeds. Anyone dealing with reflux especially silent? What meds are working and have any of you used a probiotic to help?
My LO has been doing this exact thing recently. We had her on probiotics but she's off them now...maybe we should go back on. It's not every day or all day...but it happens a few times a week and she's super cranky about it. Let me know what you find out.

LO is on probiotics and Zantac. They seem to be helping, but we're still having issues. I have cut dairy, gluten, and beans out of my diet. It's only been a few days, but this has been the biggest improvement.
@hgilmore11 I just ordered it yesterday, should be here tomorrow.
@henrytviii LO burst the milk blister while feeding and cleared up one of the clogged ducts (one that came up last night). But the main clogged one that's 1/2 of my breast, been there for 2 days and super deep is still there. At least half my breast being clogged is better than 3/4...

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
@esampson1983 Haven't used it but was just mentioned in a pumping group on facebook. Looks amazing, someone did say with the pump in style attached they get as much milk in the same amount of time
Any idea or experiences with getting rid of a milk blister on the nipple? What in the ever loving hell is going on with me... ~X( (
LC rec olive oil on a cotton ball, then placing it over the blister and wearing it inside your bra. I was too lazy to do it, but she said it would soften it up.

I am going back to work in 2 weeks. I've been breastfeeding all summer. I've been pumping to get a stash started. I really hate pumping like no other. Someone mentioned freemies (https://www.freemie.com/index.html) to me today. It seems like it could make pumping a little easier. Does anyone have any experience with this?

This looks amazing. I never heard of it before.
I just ordered it. So I will let you know how it goes when I try it!
Is it possible for colic to set in this late? These last few days he has screamed and screamed most of the day. Yesterday we attributed it to constipation but today who knows. I'm never going to sleep again and it makes me want to cry hearing him cry in pain. The gripe water seemed to help this afternoon but of course that's after 2 hours and 15 min of screaming.
^^% my friend just informed me that colic starts at 6 weeks......... Ugh
Don't worry yet, remember babies are gassy fussy and go through stages... It would take at least 3 weeks to label him colic.. I bet he will turn a corner, good luck.. Stay positive
2 days in a row I've found frozen breastmilk that leaked all over my freezer and I can't figure out how it's happening. 8oz down the drain. I am so close to tears right now between this and everything else. So discouraged. Hope you guys have a great night with plenty of sleep.

^Mine did the same for about three days straight. I think hers was belly issues/acid reflux. If continues tomorrow I'm calling the doc. I feel your pain, good luck momma!
I'm just ready to cry. He hasn't slept since 9 am. He will start to fall asleep then wake up screaming 5 min later..... Like screaming bloody murder.
This sucks. I had 2-3 days of this a while back. I still have it to a lesser extent sometimes. Hopefully he will finally crash out and sleep for a good long while overnight
I've got a blocked duct . Trying to massage it while LO feeds but it's in a really awkward position. I tried pumping after a feed but it did nothing. Hope I can get things flowing soon, I really don't want mastitis.
@aliciaspinnet UGH I feel ya! What works for me (somewhat) is 24/7 warm compresses. I buy those heat patches from CVS (the small area) and put them over the spot but not blocking the nipple so I can feed with them on. I also massage it with them on, even when I have to grit my teeth because it hurts so badly. I'm going on 4 days with this boob, 3 different areas with blocked ducts. It's really frustrating. I also always feed on that side first and do dangle feeding. It's deceased the production in my other breast from always feeding first on the other but it is what it is, better that than mastitis and a real decrease in milk.

Edit: Google says it starts at 2-3 weeks and peaks at 6 weeks.
