We are a pretty small home office with about 20 people on our floor and its only women down here so I thought it would be a cute way to do it without sending an e-mail or going around to each person to tell them. The ladies who saw it earlier kept prompting the ones who got to the office later to go check out the donuts, it was really cute.

I'm going to work on mine this weekend. I want to do a picture of my kittens popping their heads out of a brown paper bag. On the picture, I'll write... "The cat(s)' out of the bag!"
and on the bag, I'll write... "Baby (last name) due February 2nd, 2016"
anyone know of an app where I can write words on the picture?
Also, where can I get a plain brown shopping bag without writing on it?

Brown bags from a restaurant to be large enough. I don't think grocery stores use brown bags anymore like when they would ask if you want paper or plastic. I only know the lunch brown bags but those are not big enough. How about a shopping bag from a store that is paper, macys, nordstroms, etc? You can always cover the bag to block wording.
I used the site call picmonkey. It's free, I use it to make all of my collages or add words to photos. You can add words, stickers, frames, change the filters, crop, etc.
@inomniaparatus, maybe you could go to a restaurant and get take-out, then just ask them for an extra paper bag? The one with the food in it would probably not be so good, but those seem like the right size, so maybe they would give you an extra clean one.
@inomniaparatus for photo apps, you can try photofy or if you have an iPhone, an app called A Beautiful Mess (this one might cost money though, I can't remember. It's been so long since I've had an apple product)

My husband and I wanted to do something creative for our "social networking" announcement. We posted this at 12 weeks, and it was an absolute hit! We had so many people tell us how cute it was! I ordered the sign on Amazon for around $20.

I bought a cards at the grocery today and they put it in a little paper bag.
OMG edit because I typed CARDS and it autocorrected to CATS. I did not purchase cats at the grocery. LOL
DH and I told all of our family and friends the day we found out (we suck at keeping secrets!) but we just announced it on FB today. You can watch it here:
We haven't announced on social media yet here's a picture of my announcement to our good friends. My husband snapped the photo right after I said "say Mike and Bonnie are having a baby!!" We caught everyone's reaction and we got the BEST photo in the process:)
I'm not posting mine for another couple of weeks because we have to tell the rest of dh's family and we'll be seeing them in person on the 15th so we want to do it then After we tell them, I'll post.
