I always liked the name Colette with our last name and DH agreed. I wanted a Thai name for our girl's middle name. DH likes Sawan which translates to Heaven, and we probably won't tell a lot of people what it means or there will be some inappropriate jokes. If you know what I mean. So Colette Sawan it is. I may see if DH would be okay with using Suay since it means beautiful.

I have 6more days until my ultrasound.. I have a feeling it's a girl. If so, my favorite name so far is Nala Estelle. 8->
That is so beautiful
Aww.. Thank you!! I am in love with it "> Now, hopefully my intuition is right and I will have a beautiful baby girl to go with the name. Lol. Are you having a girl?
After much debate over our name choices, we have finally decided on Feather June! My husband is Native American so we liked the idea of something that tied in with the Native culture. June is hubby's grandma's middle name.
DH and I have actually made a pact not to tell any family or friends our name choices until the baby is born! Anyone else keeping names a secret?? We both love the names we have chosen and don't want anyone to give us second thoughts about them
I liked Savannah and Bryce as first names, but husband doesn't agree. We've agreed on Dakota Grace. Middle name still up for discussion...now I'm thinking a Christmas themed MN too!

We are! Just like with our son, we've shared the sex but won't tell anyone the name until it's born.
I love the name Charlie for a girl but DH voted a big fat no on that one...so now we are considering June Marie or Madalyn Marie. Leaning more towards Madalyn so we can call her Maddie for short.
We like Polly (After husband's best friend, Paul) and we quite like Olive (after my mother's grandmother). We are also thinking about both Kira and Meredith. (Though husband is very anti-Meredith right now) We like Estella but husband says it's too close to my name.
Middle name is a crapshoot. My husband's family gets to choose that - she gets a Chinese middle name and traditionally they won't choose it until they meet her. So we're staying flexible.

I love Polly and Olive! My fav. boys name is Oliver, but if we don't have any boys, I will name one olive!!

We're planning to do the same thing, though I wouldn't mind sharing my ideas here. We heard negative reactions to our choice for DS name and it really bothered me. Who wants to hear that there is something wrong with their child's name? Ugh!

okay this is actually my first time ever posting or even trying to reply to someone else's post so I hope I'm doing it right! but this is exactly how my fiance and I are. we won't tell anyone the names we have picked until he or she is here! I've read A LOT of crazy stories about girls "taking" their best friend's names because they ended up getting pregnant first and then the other women had to pick a new name when they got pregnant shortly after.. and I REALLY like the names I have picked out so I don't even wanna risk it! BUT I have seen a lot of beautiful names here, I'm glad I joined this group/discussion!
We are leaning towards Elliot "Ellie" Jean
Jean is the name of both my grandmas
My brother named his daughter Elliot Quinn. He also calls her Ellie. I love Elliot for a girl!

Fiancé and I have a short list of favorites... I love Winter Kay, and he likes Harper Kay... We have also bounced around the name Kayella Brie or Briella Kay... Kay is after his late mother who passed away 7 years ago... My favorite is Winter Kay and we would call her Winnie for short☺️

I love Harper! Harper Lee is one of my favorite writers! I proposed that the Hubby, but he refused, as the Canadian Prime Ministers name is Steven Harper and he can't stand him!!

We just love the name Adalyn & Gray was DHs great grandmothers middle name also.
Everlee Grayce :x
(All of my kids have Ray in their middle name for my Grandfather. My DH's middle name is Lee, so that is why I decided to spell it that way.)
