My WTF goes to my husband. His best friend (lives in Michigan) is in a band and they are out on "tour" for the next couple of weeks and apparently they were passing through our town and decided to stop by and hang out at 11:30 last night, until 4 AM. Being the southern woman that I am, I of course ushered them inside, fed them, made sure they all had beers and then bowed out, fuming angry and exhausted.
Part of me feels bad since he only ever sees these guys like 2-3 times a year, but dammit I am cranky, pregnant, and have a sleeping child down the hall.... give me a damn break!
Wtf exhaustion!! My Morning Sickness stopped on the dot at 12 weeks and I was thrilled. Fast forward to 13 weeks and I feel like a trailer has slammed into me.
WTF weather change! I woke up to a headache and congestion. The congestion caused me to dry heave. If we don't get any rain out of all this I am going to be really annoyed.

WTF to this morning and my husband. We bought a convertible last year to drive around in the summer and I don't usually drive it. Decided to today. Get in and the tank is empty, boo. Go to the gas station to fill up and the pump will only let me fill halfway. Weird but whatever. Getting back into the car I see the front license plate is missing, which is grounds for a ticket in my state. WTF hubs, where's the plate!?
Oh, and I totally forgot how to get the top back up, so I had to call and wake up H on his day off. Oy. Is it the end of the day yet? Total first world problem, but I'm now frazzled.
My WTF goes to the housing market in my area. We need a bigger home and cannot buy for at least another two years (I need to be working full time for a bit). To add an extra room in a rental will double what we currently pay and we can't afford that either.

WTF to this insane heat and humidity. I can't even handle it. To add to it we don't have ac in our house so I basically just sit and sweat all day. It's miserable! And it really makes the morning sickness so much better. Not!

We're about an hour from Kansas City MO. It's a college town and there is a military base nearby, so people jack up prices because there's demand.
Yep, we have the military bases next door too. Our issue is people price their house, get a buyer that puts in an offer, and then it gets appraised for way lower than asking price so people just get screwed.

Same in my area. We are trying to buy out first home. I have to pay constant attention to any notifications of new properties listed. When one goes up that we like and can afford, I have to be willing to drop everything for a viewing and be ready to make an offer at once. So stressful.

A good agent should run comps first so the buyers don't end up in that position. It's a problem here to but our agent has promised to run comps before any viewings.

They do. Sadly, the comps don't do much help because inventory is SO low. I hear all my real estate friends bitch about it everyday. I'm glad we bought before the big bust here last year

My WTF goes to my house guest that are moving out today because they couldn't follow a few rules. Their room (my future nursery) smells like piss. I have owned the house for a year and now I am going to have to gut my spare room. $$$ I don't have because I am saving for my baby.
WTF to DH's boss - Loooooong story short - - DH asked for a week off mid-aug about a month ago... Boss said no, boss still says no. Boss now says he will give DH 3 months to find a new job because he's asking for too much time off. He's allowed to acrue 36 PTO days (then he looses them), after taking 2 in July for a family wedding, he's got 33.5 left - so not sure how that counts as "taking too much time off" when HR is on him to take more so he doesn't loose it... Meanwhile it looks like I'll have to explain to my mother (with stage 4 cancer) why we won't be able to make family vacation (first one in over ten years)... Gah. Rant over.

WTF to the chocolate mini muffins. So delicious but as soon as they hit my stomach barfing ensued. Oh and I'm babysitting a two year old. She walked into the bathroom and said "ew you throw up, I'm sorry" thanks kid lets go take a nap. 11 weeks today and I haven't felt sick in a week. And now I've thrown up twice today. WTF MAN
@PumpkinTi that is so messed up on so many levels. Can his boss legally threaten his job for simply asking to use his rightfully earned PTO? I'm not saying he has a case here necessarily, but he should definitely talk to HR. Also, if he hasn't yet, he should definitely pull the cancer card with his boss. Maybe then he'll understand? His boss sounds like a complete jackass and I'm sorry you have to deal with that stress.

His boss is, well, fill in the blank - the same guy that didn't let him take a full day to drive out-of-state to my BIL (DH's brother)'s wedding... we missed the rehearsal & rehearsal dinner (DH was a groomsmen) because he "couldn't miss lab meeting." We also had to come back from our own honeymoon so he could work on Fri because of said lab meeting (basically, no Fri's off ever). I'm not sure he tried the cancer card (ironic b/c he works in cancer research), but I want him to use the fact that his job was threatened "in 3 months" right around when he told the boss I was expecting... DH has been looking for a new job (within the same hospital) for a few months, but more seriously recently - this guy, from all reports, is a terrible boss and treats his employees like crap... so hopefully a phone call to HR this afternoon will help - but I'm not sure they can overturn the rejected PTO request... boss also knows that I finish school in May - so I feel like he's just trying to use DH for all he can get before we (intend to) move out of state in June/July.

My WTF goes to both my neighbor and my dog. I get out of the shower this morning to hear my door bell keep going off and my dog going nuts. It was just my neighnor reminding me that they will be out of town for the week and to remind me to get their mail (although I suggested they just put it on hold.) In the process my dog pushes my legs to the side and I decided to catch my robe opposed to my dog. So I spent the next 20 minutes trying to catch my dog, mainly because I decided to put some sort of clothes on before going to get him.

Wtf to my sister who I am basically estranged from trying to start drama, but always with her as the victim, at my parents house right while my mom is on her low days after chemo. Everything is not about her! But now I'm the bully because I won't keep giving in to make her happy.
My WTF is to my boss. Her niece is interning at our firm this summer. We already have an intern and really don't need another one, so this is just nepotism. There is no extra desk, phone or computer for her to use, so she really has nothing to do, and she's never had a job, so she has zero skills. Guess who's in charge of her?
My WTF goes to my MIL. Her and my H had a spat a couple of weeks ago. They haven't talked since then. Well, we had our NT scan and got pictures if our LO. He texted a picture to her. She asked how far a long I was and then after funding out that I was 13 weeks. Texted my H back that my FIL has cancer. But that it's small and just needs surgery and will be ok. Why she thought that was appropriate to text blows my mind! I'm soooooo angry with her right now!!!!!
WTF goes to my neighbors. They have five kids and they are SO loud and obnoxious. Last night they had some raucous party with TONS of kids that went on for hours and hours (until about 10pm). I can understand occasionally having people over and making some noise, but you don't need to let your kids shriek repeatedly for six hours. The kids also always show up in our yard EVERY TIME we are sitting outside and their parents never correct them, even if we are eating dinner or trying to do something that doesn't involve their kids. They drive me straight up the wall!
