Blah. My body is so weird. I was getting excited because it looked like AF was going to come without the help of Prometrium but now I'm not so sure. I was crampy on Monday and although it was strong, it lasted for about 2 minutes then went away, that was it. Same thing on Tuesday and now nada. In addition, my nipples (not entire breast, just the nipple) have been super sensitive. Also, my forehead has been breaking out, not alot but moreso than usual.
If my period doesn't show up on Monday (and I get a BFN, which I'm sure I will), then I'm going to take Prometrium so that I can finally start my first cycle of Clomid!!
I guess I enjoy obsessing about other women's symptoms so please post here!
Re: RP: Can you share your BFP symptoms with me?
Hi Green
The reason why I decided to POAS was because of an intense headache that wouldn't go away. Also, I was flying back from Switzerland when I felt unusually nauseous. I normally get motion sickness on planes but I have felt that way since I was young. This feeling was not the same as the motion sickness. So I tested.
What you are experiencing sounds like it could lead to a BFP but it also sounds like the symptoms I had right before getting my period.
I was also tired, bloated, emotional, and had mild cramps. Of course, these are all the things that come with AF, so they're not helpful.
My nips hurt, I remember thinking that was weird. Also, I've been really cold all the time, my fingers are always ice cold and I have the chills constantly. I also had (still have) raging heartburn, but that didn't start until 5 weeks I think.
I POAS after my light spotting stopped. I thought for sure I was out for that cycle when I saw the spotting and then thought hmmm once it went away. I was pretty shocked when I saw a BFP because I had no symptoms.
Now I am just tired and my boobs are sore.
I had cramping and my nipples hurt. Plus I just had a feeling I was pregnant. It is hard to explain, but I just somewhere deep inside knew my test would come out positive.
Some women can still bleed like they are on their periods when they first get pregnant. Keep that in mind. Just because you bled doesn't mean you can't be pregnant.
a slight fever of 99 degrees
food aversions and things started tasting funny
I felt run down like I was getting sick
Slightly sore nipples
Tired
It's funny because until recently, I have thought every month was the month. I remember one time I was so sure that I didn't believe the BFN. Then my husband convinced me to not buy any tests and to just wait for my period. Since then, I have learned that sore breasts is a big sign that AF is on her way. But it's been four days and only the nipples are sensitive and the cramping has dissapeared. At this point, I really don't care if it's my period. I just want something to happen so we can take the next step.
Keep em' coming!
TTC#2=July 2011: Surprise BFP: Chemical Pregnancy
When I tested (10 dpo) I was just really tired and I felt a little nauseous here and there. Nothing horrible. I also was breaking out like a teenager! I also had a little cramping, but not as much as I did if I was going to get my period.
Since then, the morning sickness still comes and goes from time to time and now my boobs are sore. I'm still exhausted and a little moody from time to time.
Good luck!!!!!!
Thanks for the hope ladies!
Now I'm all excited about testing this Monday.

Late to the party, but I feel like I needed to chat with you
I also have PCOS and did a few rounds of Clomid before moving to herbs and acupuncture which worked so much better.
First off..the reason I tested was because I was 18DPO and was CONVINCED I wasn't pg this cycle b/c we had sex NINE DAYS before I O'd. Yeah, no chance, right? Not.... two bright lines popped up before I could even stand up! lol
Anyway, I am convinced it had to do wth acu/herbs giving me a perfect environment and all the vitamins I was giving DH.
If you are going to take Clomid make sure you're doing it with an RE vs. an OB. Most ob's won't monitor your properly (blood tests and ultrasounds throughout your cyle) and that's super dangerous. Let me know if you want more info.
I didn't have any symptoms per se. I just kind of thought I might be pregnant. (With the PCOS I had no idea when or if I would get a period, so I didn't know if I even missed one) After trying for about a year it was really nice to go in to the store without being nervous-I just knew I was pregnant. Can't really explain it. Also, I was on Metformin and had been for about 3 1/2 weeks.
Good luck-I know it sucks with all the waiting!
You guys are not late, I keep coming back and re-reading all of the replies. Sad, huh?
I am being prescribed Clomid from my ob/gyn but she specializes in infertility and reproductive medicine and is going to monitor me from my first cycle to my last.
Anyway, I remember you from the TTTC board so I truly appreciate you giving your input.

Gassy, Bloated, Heartburn (did I mention Gas)
These were the only symptons that came between conception and the positive pregnancy test - these symptons continued until week 6. Now I feel normal, just hungry all the time.
usually i have cramps and sore breasts before AF, but i didnt have these so i knew something was up. ?When i got my BFP, i started having cramping and a lack of appetite
?
good luck?
