Hello Ladies Just wanted to give a quick introduction.
I received my first eye squinting positive pregnancy test on Sunday! I ran to DH, woke him up, and said "DO YOU SEE THE LINE, DO YOU SEE IT?" He said yes and I just cried in his arms like a big baby! I have been testing everyday since and slowly watching the lines get darker & darker. I finally turned a digital test positive this morning. According to the digital I am 1-2 weeks but looking at my O date I should be 4 weeks. IDK how accurate those digital tests are with predicting the weeks. I made my first prenatal appointment for 3 weeks from today so I guess I will officially know how far along I am and my due date then.
I just turned 30 years old in June and have been married for 2 1/2 years. My Husband and I were TTC for 5 months. This will be our first child. I actually used to be a lot more active on these boards but between vacation, work, and family life I kind of disappeared. I am hoping to see old TTC friends from here and can't wait to get to know everyone else! Cheers (with water of course) to a happy & healthy 9 months to all!
Welcome! Ignore the 1-2 weeks reading on the digital. Pregnancy weeks are counted from your LMP so you really can't even be 1-2 weeks and turn a test, 4 weeks is far more likely. Congrats!
The instructions say 1-2 is actually 3-4 weeks, 2-3 is 4-5 weeks and 3+ is 5+ weeks. I think it's based off ovulation even though the 40 weeks is based off of lmp.
Anywho, congratulations.
