I am taking DH to get his kidney stone (we found out about on Sunday) to be removed and we have to be there at 5:45!!!.... I just wanted to whine about that since I am not a morning person!

I was chatting to my friend about being pregnant and this girl who was listening in said to me "are you pregnant?" I replied yes. She then looks me up and down and says "well you don't look it."

Jeeeezzzzzz I'm sorry....funnily enough the minute you're pregnant you don't instantly look 9 months pregnant!!!

Yes! The bloating is terrible! I don't remember feeling like this the first time but I was also thinner then. I am ready to actually look PG so I can bust out the maternity pants!

Went to my first appointment today. was so excited & told they would try to find a heart beat so i took DH. No just made me pee in a cup & did a pap. He didn't even need to go which was annoying. they didn't schedule me for an ultrasound until almost 12 weeks. I've had tons of friends go to the doctor & get them wayyy before that. Told me there was no way they could pick up the baby on the ultrasound equipment. Then a "shadowing nurse" was supposed to be following the main one & i was asked if i cared i didn't so i said no. well then she comes in by herself & does the pap herself without the actual nurse. Not that she didn't know what she was doing because its pretty routine but still they asked if i minded if they both came in not just the shadowing nurse. Needless to say i scheduled an appointment for elsewhere. i feel bad but i just didn't feel comfortable with them.

I switched dr's office with this pregnancy and it was definitely the right decision. I love the new Dr's office, they are on top of there shit and i had to wait like 5 minutes for my appt. it was great. GL with your new place!

Now that a few friends know i've asked them where they went & both girls had the same doctor & said she was amazing that i would love her. we also have the same first name so i think it's meant to be haha. But yes fingers crossed that they are more on top of their stuff! also they are located at the actual hospital which makes me feel even better. @pinksuglasses16

I had mcdonalds today and feel so guilty about it! I have been totally unsuccessful so far at eating healthier. why do I all of the sudden have zero will power? In my defense our new fridge arrived today and all of the food was buried in coolers. But still! Somebody needs to stop me!

I've also let myself belive that these yummy little chocolate fiber one brownies are a totally acceptable thing to eat with a banana for breakfast.... Because well of course it has the word fiber in the name. :-S I am feeling a little guilty about this.

Yeah I just so happened to be having horrible MS when I went shopping yesterday... I'm sure it saved us tons of money. If I had gone today... I would have all of the food and none of the money!!

One of my girlfriends that I regularly - make that frequently - chat with on gchat just asked me "I know this sounds like I am in high school, but are you mad at me about something?"

I feel like an awful friend! I want to tell people but I am just not comfortable until we are a little further along. I guess I'm subconsciously distancing myself? Anyone else feeling like they might be accidentally isolating themselves or pissing people off?

@flowerpower I have told two of my best friends already because I couldn't take it. Tomorrow I have lunch with my team (all the other 1st grade teachers at my school) and I have only told one of them. I feel like I will not be talking a lot like usual because I am not ready to tell the others and don't want to say anything to tip them off. Hopefully it goes well..and I don't seem distant or moody cuz I am quiet.

YES, I am totally doing this and I don't really mean to. But between not wanting to tell anyone for another 4 weeks, the constant nausea and fatigue, and being really busy with a move coming up it's just too easy to isolate myself.

Starting to really get bugged that my first appointment is not until week 10. And its only with a nurse not even my Dr. (I will see her at about 12 weeks) Am I being impatient or should I be looking for another Dr.?? I have heard good things about this one so I wanted to wait it out but....seeing everyone else going to appointments makes me wonder. I don't think I am high risk. I'm young and have never had a MC but I feel like if anything is wrong, 10 weeks is a long time to wait to find out.

8-10 weeks is very typical. And most likely if something does go wrong you will know. As long as your symptoms are constant, that should give you peace of mind.
