  I am an engineer for a big cell phone manufacturer.

  Actually, my official title is Technical Account Manager. But it's easier to say engineer for those who don't know what that is.

  I facilitate certification of cell phones for use on carrier's networks.

  (I'm a ping pong ball between the manufacturer and the carrier. But I'm paid by the manufacturer.)

  I feel like it might be best not to say which manufacturer or carrier. Just in case.
