It can be normal, yes. I was getting shooting pains down my leg. It's from the uterus touching the sciatic nerve. If you are really worried about it, talk to your doctor, but I don't think there is much to worry about now. Get used to aches and pains in all sorts of places. Back ache is completely normal.
It can be normal. I didn't get leg cramps and aches until I was much further along with DD but this time around I already have them. Backaches are a given and unfortunately they usually only get worse as you go along.
I had that in my first pregnancy starting around 12 weeks. I went to a chiropractor for a few weeks and it solved the problem. I think I went back much later in the pregnancy once or twice too. I have noticed it starting in this pregnancy the last couple of days (7 weeks).
I had horribly restless legs with my first, and this time my legs are achy and my back is too! My doctor said that using icy hot is ok in moderation. There are also natural oil versions that do the same thing, which seem to work well!
