All the time I hear stories like "And I just knew I was having a boy" or "I had a dream she was a girl - & I was right". I'm curious, how many mommies found their intuition to be right? Or maybe you were way off?
My entire life I thought I'd have a boy, not sure why. But as soon as I got pregnant I had a strong feeling it was s girl... Found out today she's a girl! So in my case intuition was correct. I'm not giving myself too much credit though since the odds are 50/50.
I had a feeling my first child would be a boy - she was a beautiful baby girl. Then, the night before my ultrasound for my second child, I had a feeling it was a girl - I was right! Now, I've been having dreams that the baby is a boy... I'm 50/50 so far so who knows. Haha
My mother SWEARS by a pregnant woman's dreams! She keeps telling me that "that's how you know for sure". I'll find out if it's true for me on Thursday.
When I first got pregnant I told my SO that I felt major girl power lol. Throughout the weeks I still felt girl but everyone said boy. I had mixed dreams too with some being a girl and some being boys so I kinda started doubting myself. I found out I was right though and we're having a girl
About two weeks before I found out I was pregnant, I had a dream that we had three children. An oldest girl name Jamilla and a set of twins (boy and girl). I told my sister and she said..."hmmm...like Camilla with a J?" And both my husband and I (who had NEVER agreed on a name for our potential future kids) fell in love with the name Camilla.
Fast forward to now, we found out we're having a girl, and its unanimous that her name will be Camilla.
I don't know how I feel about having any more kids, but according to the dream, I guess I'll be popping out some twins in a few years.
I knew as soon as we found out we were pregnant that we were having twins. I am a FTM but twins run in our families. Then about a week later, I had a dream I had a little brown haired boy. Sure enough- I'm having twin boys. We didn't even pick out girl names!
I didn't have intuition but did have two very vivid dreams baby was a boy and he is....however I try not to put much merit into those things because the odds are pretty high baby could be one or the other.
I've been wrong both times. With DD I thought it was a boy, and thought this one was a girl. Instead I have a beautiful baby girl and a little guy on the way!
I had a dream shortly after DH and I started dating of a little blond boy, but as soon as I got that BFP years later, I KNEW it was a little girl. I actually did not believe the ultrasound tech when she said boy. This pregnancy was so amazingly different from DS that I knew it was a girl. Even had a dream about two months in that I gave birth to a girl. Sure enough, she is definitely a little lady. So 50/50.
I was hoping for a boy, and had always wanted a boy to be my first child ever since I was a little girl. But I had a gut feeling it was gonna be a girl, even had the perfect girl name picked out and didn't even bother thinking of the perfect boy name. Sure enough, I was right.
I've had no fewer than 10 dreams that I was having a little brown haired girl. Had my 19 week ultrasound today. The US tech showed us between the legs and asked us what we thought it was.... My husband yelled "is that some balls?!?!".... Turns out I was wrong, we are having a boy. Lol
Mine was soooo wrong. I have always wanted a boy for my first child. When I got pregnant, however, I just felt like the baby was going to be a girl. I kept having dreams he was a girl and was so sure of my feelings.
When we went and had the ultrasound, it was so obvious he was a boy I just had to laugh.
Nope, I was so wrong.. All the way through I was certain that I was having a boy, I even had dreams of a little boy but there's definitely a little girl in there
I was told by my friend and fellow church member that she had a dream it was a boy. Doctors said it was a girl at 19 weeks. I'm on the fence. I know stranger things have happened but I will be satisfied with any outcome.
I knew I was pregnant before I even took a test. As for the sex, I had a dream it was a girl then a dream it was a boy so I had no idea my husband was 100% sure it was a boy and he was right!
I was wrong both times (1st was a girl and now we are having a boy). If I have any more kids, I'm just going to expect the opposite of whatever I think...
I saw myself with a baby girl. And names just came to me like I liked. However I just knew it was a boy. I just had a gut feeling. Then when I couldn't think.of any boy names I knew for sure it was a boy. and I was right! Couldnt be more excited for him to get here
With my first 3 I was right... I would only look at boy outfits for my son. With the girls, I just had a feeling. With this pregnancy, I let my DH convince me it was a boy and a girl... But I only dreamed about 1 girl child. The weird thing is, my twins are identical girls.
We are having identical twins and as soon as we found out I had a dream they were boys. I always had the feeling they were boys and sure enough, I was right!
We didn't find out with our first but I always wanted a little boy first and he was a boy My second I thought it was a girl and at my 20 week ultrasound was told he was 80% sure it was a girl. Had an ultrasound at 30 weeks to check some things and it was 100% boy! When I got pregnant with our third I just knew I was going to have three boys. I had always had this feeling I would have three boys and he was a boy. I don't know the sex of this one yet. Doctor had an early guess of a boy at 11 weeks but couldn't see at all at my ultrasound last week. I have an appointment at the perinatologist tomorrow for my anatomy scan so we should be able to find out tomorrow. I am guessing it is a boy but have had the intuition with this pregnancy being so different that I am having a girl. I just don't think my hubby is able to produce females! :-)
I wanted a girl, but in the weeks leading up to our ultrasound I kept having very vivid dreams that LO was a boy. Sure enough, we're having a boy. The funny part is that we could not agree on a boy name up until 30 mins before the u/s.
Re: Has your "Mother's Intuition" been right?
Of course, I had a 50% shot at being right though.
Totally thought this little girl was a boy.
Oh also, people always say there's a 50/50 chance of being right but I heard it's actually 51/49 in favor of male. Thought that was interesting!
Fast forward to now, we found out we're having a girl, and its unanimous that her name will be Camilla.
I don't know how I feel about having any more kids, but according to the dream, I guess I'll be popping out some twins in a few years.
When we went and had the ultrasound, it was so obvious he was a boy I just had to laugh.
