Monday B*tchfest

Hey Ladies,

The glorious weekend is over, back to the basics. Is it too early for a Monday B*tchfest?

I just got news that my apt will NOT be ready in time for DS. I am beyond frustrated

  • So far today is good! The only thing I can bitch about is how awful I slept last night!
  • I am sleeping great, I feel great, but I'm tired of gaining weight.  I gained like 11 pounds in the first 36 weeks....then ive gained like nine in the last 2...and its probably due to water/hot weather.  Doctor says its fine, and it will all go away since its all in my ankles.  Doesn't mean I have to like it though :(

  • Can't complain much, just bought a new lip color by NaRS so I'm imagining my postpartum body and self ...daydreaming that is. The only thing making me down is this nasty hot weather!
  • Ugh, Monday...this morning started with me not being able to find my transponder to get into the parking garage at work. Tried using the Call Box thingy to ask Parking Services to open the gate for me, but I couldn't hear a damn word they said. (I'm sure they could hear me dropping f-bombs like crazy, though.)  So I tried calling on my cell and nobody answered. I ended up paying to park in the lot outside our building until I could borrow my co-worker's transponder.

Best part of it all? When I finally got into the garage, I decided to look through my car one more time. DH let DS play in my car on Saturday while he was doing some yard work, and DS moved it into the center console underneath a pile of stuff that I didn't look closely enough at the first time I was looking for it:((

  • First day of mat leave so I planned to go out and get a bunch of errands done. They decided that today would be a good day to repave the roads in our community so I'm trapped at home for a couple of days unless I want to park 10 blocks away. Normally that wouldn't be an issue but at 39 weeks pregnant I want my car in my driveway in case I go into labor!
  • Have to go back for an ultrasound because the baby has fluid in her kidney, first I've even heard about it; she has three weeks to fix it before my induction :(

First day of maternity leave and feeling pretty good. Most of my annoyances have been from Being around people all day and the annoying questions and comments I got from coworkers constantly. Most of my coworkers are great, there was just one who was obsessed with my pregnancy and would seriously bombard me with questions and comments everyday. I know she probably meant well, but it drove me crazy in the end!!!

Nothing to bitch about today. Took benedryl and tylenol last night and slept like a baby. Then slept some more from 830am till now. I think my body really needed it (I've only had maybe 8 hrs in the past week). I'm planning to go for a walk today (in a air conditioned mall since it's 95 degrees here) and have my last BPP US today (next week is the induction)
And that's about it. Hopefully a chocolate shake is in my future today.
  • I cannot wear anything that puts pressure under my bump. Skirts, panties, nothing. Can we just go naked lol???

Also I have been having period like cramping off and on for the last 2 weeks. Dr said it's cervix changing-- currently 70% effaced as of friday. However alsi as of Friday, I have noticed more cramping which is normal.. but I'm still spotting and not wanting to wear panties is not an option bc I have wear a Damn panty liner.

DD just hurry up lol... although I think I would just want the time to go faster rather than her hurrying lol..she'll come when shes ready
  • Muscle under the right side of my ribs is excruciating :(

Decided to haul my 3 yo and 16 mos boys to walmart to stock up on household stuff (toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc) and they decided they both wanted to escape the whole time. Oh, and my 3 yo decided to strip a couple times. So, on the way out, fighting to keep 2 toddlers in the cart and with 1 to keep his clothes on, having contractions, pouring sweat, a walmart employee approaches me and tells me that my tantruming stripping son can't be in the store without shoes on.

Are you serious? My youngest lives life half naked and barefoot- I would have had some choice words to say to her; as long as he was in the cart it shouldn't matter when they are that young.
Disclaimer: I've gotten in trouble for him not wearing shoes in the hospital, I swear I bring them but he won't keep them on!
  • My new bitch is the assholes who just cut me off as I was walking from the waiting area to the newly vacant office to sign in for my pre-admission stuff at the hospital. Literally, people JUST walked out of the office, I get up to go in (I'm the only person waiting) and they just walk in the main door cut me off and walk into the office. Fuck you.

Wtf did you not say anything????

At almost 37 weeks my belly has just now decided to pop big time (I'm really tall and have a really long torso so the LO grew up instead of out and I just looked like I put on like 10 lbs.). Because of that I don't have much in the way of maternity clothes and now I'm going to have to go out and try to find some with only maybe, fingers crossed, 3 weeks to go. Second complaint... why don't they make maternity clothes for tall people? The average inseam is like 28-30 inches. That's great but my inseam is 33!! Everything looks like Capri pants on me! :(
  • I don't wanna be at work anymore!!! Working in customer service and being 8 days away from induction IS NOT FUN and I'm SO over it.

For real! I'm 6' and the struggle is real, we should launch a maternity line for tall women
  • Tightness and pressure in my rib cage and chest today, and I'm already having trouble breathing due to sinuses. Ugh. 3ish weeks to go.

I want in! I'm 5'11 and have a hard time finding tops that cover the maternity belly part of the pants without me having to re-adjust the top everytime I twist or bend over.

  • Still with the ICP! It's gotten worse! Last night I got zero sleep because of the itching! Luckily I have an appointment today so I can see what my options are. I absolutely can not do this for 11+ more days! My chest is dug open and my poor face hurts so bad, not to mention looks horrible! If this keeps up I'll have more scars from scatching, than stretch marks. :-w

I understand, I'm over 6ft. The good news is that it's summer and you can get away with maxi dresses, skirts and capris. Motherhood is expensive but has some great maxi dresses and they are really long.

I started to but they just went in and shut the door. :(
  • @KaylaLovesNoah hopefully they can figure something out for you.

Will be thinking about you! There have been a couple of positive stories on this on here with fluid going away before baby is born so FX!!
