Going out & our first time away from home

we are down the shore this with my in-laws this weekend. It is our first time away from home, my baby is 11 weeks old and started sleeping through the night around for 2 weeks. My husbands family is going out to a bar & it's 9:25...I really don't want to go out. I'm exhausted & not ready to leave him yet. I just feel uncomfortable. I had a lovely day & just want to relax-am I being crazy. I feel so much pressure from my husbands family

No, you are not being crazy. Even though he's sleeping through the night, caring for him during the day is likely still pretty exhausting. So I don't think there's anything unreasonable about wanting to stay in and go to bed early.

Nope! I just say no thanks! My kids never slept through the night while traveling so just say you don't want to burden whoever was going to stay with him and that you'll just stay back.

Then I'd turn on Netflix and chill! Plus, I don't go anywhere at 9:30 at night! That's practically bedtime!

I decided to go out for a drink with friends last week after date night out with hubby. He's a chef and works until midnight six nights a week so we only get one night together as a family. I last about 45 minutes out before I missed him and baby girl so much I had to come home... only to find them both asleep already. I was so bummed I missed out on the three of us all together for once.
