My husband and I are cloth diapering, but I have NO IDEA which ones to go with. There seems to be so many options! I know that we are going to do disposables for the first month, or until baby can fit into the "one-size fits all diaper." Any one else cloth diapering? Which company are you going with?

We got a bunch of green mountain prefolds(newborn and small), a few green mountain fitteds(newborn and small), and rumparooz covers(newborn and one-size). Can't say how good they are because we haven't used them yet but the green mountain diapers seem like great quality and I've heard great things about them. I also got a free bumgenius 4.0 when I ordered the covers and it looks really nice but I'm not a huge fan of the synthetic materials so I'm not sure yet whether I want to purchase more of that style of diaper although they do seem more convenient for on the go or if someone else is changing her.
There really are a ton of options and a lot of it seems to come down to getting a good fit for your baby(some seem better for long skinny babies, some better for chubby legs, ect.) so I'm planning on trying a few styles once she fits in the one-size to see what works best for us.
•Pocket diapers

•Prefolds, that I'll use with several Buttons covers. Prefolds are great bc they have many different uses, and you can use them to stuff the pocket diapers when baby grows out of the prefolds.

•Buttons covers: good quality, 1 size covers.

•Snappi's for the prefolds

We were gifted 22 Bumgenius Freetimes as well and we will be using them once our baby is big enough. We will probably still mix in prefolds when he's between sizes on the snaps of the BG diapers, or if I get behind on the laundry. I like that the BG ones are all in one and don't require stuffing. They say not to dry them in the dryer so I have a drying rack for them and have found that they dry within just a few hours inside on that rack. That's a bonus as it cuts down on our energy bills with not having to run the dryer constantly ;-) I'm hoping that the BG diapers work for our little guy since we have so many!

Their aios are all organic cotton as well.
The company's ethics are superior to other brands! The company runs a BST group on FB, which the owner of Grovia moderates. She will not allow someone to resell a diaper (no matter how HTF the print is) for over retail value (this includes shipping). Their Grovia families group is amazing as well for support and helpfulness and no one has ever been rude or hateful to one another because .... It's moderated again by the founder of Grovia, Kim Ormsy. Who will also help you personally troubleshoot any cloth diaperin problems you may be having! How many other companies do you know of that do this? Not many.
Is not fun. Diaper sprayer was a game changer with him.

If you want to try I would suggest getting some second hand that way you can find what works for you at a low cost and then build your stash.
