I actually did use the search function on this app as well as online, it didn't work. I search on other sites and got the same list with a few varriations. Yes, I know it's only two days. Yes, I know its not a vacation. However, I am a planner and I like to be prepared. I simply wanted to get some advice from other moms who have done this before. If I knew people were going to get so bent out about this I would not have asked. I saw the community tab and thought it was a good place to get some answers. I didn't think I would get this much of a negative response from so many people who don't know how to just ignore the "stupid, repetitive" questions and more on to topics that matter to them. If you want to keep being irritated by questions like mine, then please keep responding because I'm pretty sure that's what is keeping it near the top of the board. If I could delete this feed I would because I have found very few of you to be helpful. It's sad that all us mom's can't just be nice and helpful to each other. I do want to say thank you for those that were able to give advice, it really did help.
I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but you might have to bring a cord blood banking kit if you are opting to do that. Also, any paperwork/legal documents and your insurance information. Seems like a no brainer, but I could totally see myself bringing my sleep mask, Chapstick, favorite robe, etc. and forgetting my driver's license.
Oh my! I thought us moms were suppose to stick together, help one another? Isn't that what the site is about? Not complain over a simple question! And I never said you can't reply, I just meant if it bothers you so much then why take up your time and comment.. Why not just simply move on.
Never ending battle with these girls. Just ignore their messages and carry on with the helpful ones. Like they say, you can't control who comments on your post.. But you can control how you respond to them.. It's best if you don't. It's a lose-lose battle. Just scroll right through em. They also can't control what you post (and they seem to have no self control on where they post either), so carry on with your questions!
I packed a small fan. I can't sleep without a fan! LOL I typically pack bare minimum too, no pillows or boppy or anything that I don't really need need...but home girl needs a fan.

Nice to see you actually participating instead of creating drama posts just to complain. I'm glad you're getting to know how the board functions though. You can't control responses

I laughed so hard at this. I sleep with a fan on too. I love that you take hardly anything, but show up with your dag on fan!! Then you're just like WTF you looking at I need this!!
Lol right! This is my third and it only took me this many times to say PACK A FAN! I actually bought a desk fan for work and that's what I'm throwing in there, so not TOO big, but I'm hoping the sound helps drown out the hallway noise. For the little sleep I will get.
It's too bad I can't pack the big sucker from my bedroom!
