Sooo excited to finally be able to post here, we got our very first ultrasound today, our anatomy scan, at 18 weeks. Tech said tiny baby was very cooperative and everything looked good. Feeling so much better after a lot of anxiety leading up to this ultrasound. Plus, it was fun to see everything, heart was really amazing! Choosing not to find out if its a boy or girl, they were really good about not showing or telling.
18 week scan Baby was sitting on it's legs - very hard to get the gender - these are the only pictures I have that don't have gender on them. I'll know team pink or blue next week! In picture number 2 it looks like baby was trying to suck it's thumb. So in love already
@claireloSC it won't let me remove the post for some reason.

16w3d ultrasound earlier today! We haven't seen her since 11 weeks when she was still a 1st trimester blob, so it was exciting to see her looking like a human, and see all the organs and bones! She sucked her thumb and wiggled around, and the tech said she was sitting on my bladder, which certainly FEELS accurate, haha. The tech also confirmed what the blood test said, she's definitely a girl!
The only good picture we got from the a/s today. It's hard to tell but it's a picture of her chest at the bottom, then her lips, nose and nostrils, and her hand is covering her eyes. I so desperately wanted a profile shot, and we have been trying to get one since 16 weeks with no luck. She's always laying facing my back. I'm just glad she's healthy.
Had our a/s today and were able to stay team green! I can't believe we walked out of there without knowing lol. This is the first time being team green, 3rd baby, and am so excited to guess and the anticipation for the arrival of our little bean.

I had my 19 week u/s last Friday and they told me they weren't able to see what they need so I have to go back on Monday. I am a little concerned. Has the happened to anyone else?
@fricktion21 At my 16 week one they asked me to come back at 20 weeks because she couldn't get a good enough view of the heart (up close to see all 4 chambers) because she was still too small and moving around too much, and apparently that's common for earlier ultrasounds. Maybe your baby just needs a little more growing, or was too active, I wouldn't worry too much, just see it as an opportunity to see your baby again in a few weeks
@essentialpeace Thanks, I was shocked how HUMAN she looked, I was expecting hardly decipherable scans, the technology has gotten insane in recent years!
@fricktion21 I had my 20 week ultrasound today and the baby wasn't cooperating so at my next appointment in 4 weeks they are going to do another scan. She couldn't get a good shot of the extremities (although we did at our 12 week scan)...it could've just been that they couldn't get pictures/measurements of everything they needed. I wouldn't stress it.

how many weeks are you? I doubt anyone on this board has had a t/v in weeks, like since week 12+. Most of the recent ones you're seeing are 3D/4D abdominal u/s and probably for their A/S.
