No magical hints, but just want to say sorry. That's super tough, and I don't envy you. I hear it usually starts to go away around 3 months, though, so maybe you're getting near the end?
Oh, I just remembered! Our neighbors' daughter was colicky when she was a baby, and they said they went to a pediatric chiropractor and it worked wonders. I know not everybody is comfortable with chiropractic care, but something to think about.
Have you tried probiotics? Our pediatrician put LO on the Gerber Soothe probiotic drops and they have worked wonders at decreasing the crying! They are a bit pricey and a little tricky to give if you are breastfeeding, but so worth a try if you haven't already. You can ask your pediatrician if they have any samples, otherwise they are sold at drugstores or on Amazon. Of course, check with your ped. first before getting them.
I don't think ds2 has colic, but these last few days have me wondering. It's weird, if I'm holding him he's generally fine, but if not he will sometimes scream. Even when DH has him. It gets frustrating. My mom said I had colic and doesn't think ds2 is colicky because is isn't crying "that much". I must have cried a lot. She said it was the hardest thing ever and then just stopped one day. Hang in there. I hope it goes away very soon...like today!
I will second the suggestion of a chiropractor! Though my LO isn't colicky, chiropractic care has worked wonders for her (first adjustment was at 4 days old). Find someone that specializes in pediatrics
We just got told our lo has reflux and colic. He's a whiny boy, doesn't just scream that often. The only thing that helps him is laying across my legs on his stomach. Good luck momma!! This is awful!
I 2nd the probiotic! You might want to try s different brand. We tried the Gerber and it didn't work. We got a powder that you keep refrigerated and it has worked wonders! When BF I express milk in the powder and mix and give it to her in a syringe
A friend had a colicky baby and got him an amber necklace and it helped! Maybe try that but make sure you research and get a proper fit. You can have baby wear on the ankle instead if necklace makes you uncomfortable
Re: The big C
I even out went out yesterday and bought a momaroo but haven't had any luck
We did rule out reflux
