Just looked up the full moon in Augusf, it is the 29th. The day after my EDD, I've been having a gut feeling that I would go a few days early (nothing crazy just a few days) BUT with this post I'm wondering if I'll be a day late LOL!

August 28th is my EDD too! Let's see if we both pop a day late!
I actually have to agree that my hubby when it comes to full moons he is so annoying. He picks fights and is so frustrated that day it's hard to deal with. I have set reminders on my phone when the full moon is so I can remind my self to ignore him if he starts up.
Due date is Aug 3 or July 31 depending on which of my dr.s you talk to (don't get me started lol) but DH picked July 31 in our baby pool so bring on the full moon!!
I've never worked in L&D but I've worked in a hospital for years various departments from psych to ICU and I can honestly tell you during a full moon the admissions would be crazy! ER would call constantly for admissions back to back. When I was a charge nurse in a subacute center, full moon would absolutely effect the seniors! I'm a firm believer in science, but the full moon effect is absolutely real. I'm sure in L&D is the same
I've heard this from my doctor, too! There are actual pressure changes that cause more ladies to be in the hospital those days. I'm excited to see what the board looks like August 1! Maybe lots of baby announcements??
This post reminded me of a related topic- astrological signs. I have absolutely zero interest in them, and don't believe they are at all significant. I don't even know what my husband's is (no offense to anyone who believes in this- it's just me). Anyway, we have a baby due on the 22nd, which is apparently a cut-off between two of them...so I've been getting SO much, "Oh, maybe she will be a Virgo! You know what THAT means!!" and similar comments. It felt like every other conversation for awhile there. I've been saying, "Well, I guess we'll just have to wait to get to know her!" to subtly tell them I don't give a hoot as to which sign she is born under.
