What is the official fb group?

There seems to be a dozen March 2016 fb groups started. Which one is our official one and can someone please add me?

There isn't. Too many new moms with antsies in their pantsies decided to take things in their own hands and start the FB group. The result is 3 or 4 groups each thinking they're "the one." You can either pick one or wait until a nicely organized official one is started in a few months.

I like this idea.

Also it totally blows my mind how many people just post their name and email for all to see! Or they're just ready to "friend" anyone on fb to get added to the group. That just screams stranger danger to me.

What's the point of even joining the bump if you're just going to go to fb already? Just skip the bump and go search fb for groups if that is where you're so anxious to be, geez

Because my bump fb spin off group is the best group I've ever been in. After three years they are still the most wonderfully supportive group. The bump is a sea asshats who view it as a sport to be snarky bitches. There are wonderful people here and thoseAre the ones who tend to go to fb and keep their shit in check and don't have the need to make bitchy comments for bitchy comments sake (let me jump to the reply to this comment, "it's the Internet I do what I want, this isn't a support group, if you can't handle it leave, you're grammar sucks, oh and I found a clever gif I'll pat myself on the back for all my bitchy cleverness" sigh and over and over again and no one gets anywhere.). Yes I'll scroll through the bump and weed through the unnecessary dick comments and then I'll move to fb and avoid the cray parade that is the bump.

Sooooo you joined a "sea of asshats" on the "cray parade that is the bump" in order to possibly start a FB spin off group when we're like a second pregnant? Sounds like a great plan, I'm sure that's all going to work out just wonderfully. Super attitude, friend.

There are wonderful people here and those are the ones who tend to go to fb and because of my positive experience with my bump fb spin off. I can belong to any number of random fb groups but bump fb groups are created for a reason and they are great groups!

I don't think I need to explain myself anymore. If it doesn't make sense to you troll on troller!

Exactly the point I was making, and if I don't respond to every "asshat with their clevever gifs" I will be called out as someone who ran away and couldn't take it blah, blah, blah. There is no reason to get worked up, seriously, twas in jest... No one has said or done anything negative in any way that I have seen on this BMB so far so your post was funny to me. I don't really see the point of calling most of the people here asshats when we just started. Can we just chill on the, "this place isn't supportive and it's full of mean girls" for at least a little while? Until something actually happens?

And if you want to start a FB group, that's great. I think most people would prefer to wait for some valid reasons but it's cool if you want to jump right to FB. But no need to shit on TB in the process.

I am part of a FB group from my first BMB and let me tell you, the things you're worried about don't stop when you jump to FB. We had a catfish in our group, lots of drama, that FB group ended, 2 "secret" FB groups were started that split the group, and then another group was started to try and resurrect the original group and that one imploded as well. I'm now in a group of about 30 moms out of the original hundred and some that started and they are my people forever. But it took a looooooong time to get it to that group where the dynamic works and we're actually very close.

At least you can avoid maybe a little bit of that nonsense by waiting to get to know people first and not jump right to saying this place is mostly bitches. Give it time.

I was thinking the same thing. Calling anonymous people asshats and crazies but giving these same people (because you can't possibly know who is who at this point) your personal information in the form of a Facebook friendship? I too would like to be apart of a facebook group, as would I think most of the girls that are against one ATM...eventually.

We all just "met." Get to know people a little bit before putting your non-anonymous self out there! No need to move too fast

Why does everyone want to move to facebook? I honestly don't understand that. I have friends and family who can support me on facebook that I personally know. I like the bump because it allows me to talk to other women going through the same thing as me without having to get to personal. I like anonymity though.
