I haven't posted here in a while, and I learned I'm just *barely* a Feb mama (28th!) so I have been a bit behind the rest of you as far as symptoms go. But these past two weeks sickness has really kicked in I've discovered that I get the joy of puking every other day. It's far better than every day but...I still feel like whining.
I feel so congested and have the sniffles. I blame the girl at work that gave it to me last week. She was coughing and sneezing all over the place. I can't take anything for it! Wahhh! (
Not feeling too bad today - I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and my nausea has been quite a bit better the last couple of weeks, but I keep hearing ladies say the morning sickness has been coming back around that time! I seriously hope not. Only 2 more weeks and I get to have another ultrasound for measurements and I can't wait!
My only real complaint lately has been gas pains/constipation - they are terrible, but I started taking pure fiber supplement the other day and have noticed it's been a little better.
I had a few nearly symptom-free days at the end of last week so I'm even more irritated that all the nasty symptoms are back in full swing. Nausea, heartburn, and exhaustion are at the top of my list today. I've also started getting up to pee 3-4 times/night and have a hell of a time falling back asleep each time. Doesn't make for a real restful night.
My sister convinced me I needed some good green juice to get my energy up and proceeded to buy me a few bottles of this interesting looking organic stuff. So this morning I choked the stuff down and still have no energy. The only remedy for no energy is to get out of the first tri!
September Siggy Challenge - Favorite Thing About Fall:
Oh, I forgot my other favorite symptom today: bloating has reached a new level. I now even have my "fat pants" unbuttoned. I ordered some maternity work pants and they can't come soon enough. I didn't think I'd need them so early but I'm SO bloated and the pressure of my pants is making me feel sick!
@pbtoast I can commiserate, I bought shorts 3 sizes too big think I'd fit into them for a while and I can't get them to even come close to fitting fold the tops inward so you can't tell their not zipper or buttoned.

I have one day of energy and I'm happy, the next day I'm a total zombie trying to figure out how I can take a nap at my desk. Yesterday was my zombie day, came home took a 3 hour nap, woke up for some dinner and went back to bed. I'm also always freezing. I brought a fleece blanket that hangs on the back of my chair and I usually wrap up in it almost immediately.
I've woken up with a headache every day for the last 2 weeks. I think it's a combo of sinus pressure/I've had stress headaches my whole life and usually pop a few Advil and don't even realize my head was hurting. Sitting on the couch my whole day off with an ice back on my neck and head is getting old real quick! Speaking of ice packs, I got in an honest to goodness argument with some woman at work last night (I'm a pharmacist) because she was trying to convince her daughter than she could NOT, under any circumstances, place an ice pack on her back while pregnant.
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Seriously, this kid is going to my problem child I think. I was never this way w/ my other 2 and here I thought it was going to be easy. Well, I'm tired of it! I just want to be blissfully pregnant and happy like I'm used to feeling!
DH cooked salmon yesterday and I can still smell it in the house...I *might* be crazy but it's making me so sick!! He doesn't get why I'm mad at him lol
Got a call from my Dr.'s office this morning. My blood work turned up mild anemia so now I get to add an extra iron supplement. My already grouchy GI system is going to loooove that.
I can smell everything and it's driving me crazy. I had to take my laptop and sit outside to work for an hour today because there's a microwave near my cubicle and the smell of the lunches cooking was making me want to vomit.
Nausea is gone for the most part. But I'm so tired. All. The. Time. I feel like I can barely function. Of course my toddler might be a reason for this too. Ugh.
The nausea this week is awful, I feel moments away from an untimely demise most of the time. (I'm only slightly kidding) It has really made work difficult as I can't just "take it easy." I feel hungry, but nothing sounds good. I find something to eat and then feel as bad or if not worse than before I ate. Hubby bought me 3 different kinds of ginger tea (he's really too good for me!) and I tried one last night and it didn't work. I will definitley be trying the others today to see if any of them will provide relief.
The congestion I'm suffering from is awful. I think it may be contributing to some of the nausea.
I'm also on smell overload, I really want to tell some of my customers to come back when they have bathed and brushed their teeth. =;
I feel fine, just blah and bored. It's my last week of vacation before going back to work so I know I'll be kicking myself for complaining that I'm bored next week. I have to pull myself together and make myself look pretty for my nursery school tour. I'm trying to pick an outfit that makes me look down to earth and accessible to the women working there, yet put together and successful enough to say - "move her up a few spots on the wait list!". I keep getting flashbacks of my mom freaking out at my chipped manicure during my college tours back in the day. FYI got in early to my first choice despite my unsightly nails. My nails are hard up right now. I want to wait for the weekend to get a mani because I'm going back to work Monday so I guess I'll just remove the chipped stuff. I'm bizarrely nervous!
Feb '16 Siggy Challenge: Favorite Thing About Fall: Haunted Houses and Scary Movies!
I feel a lot better today, just tired and irritated. Woke up with a major craving for a bagel with cream cheese so I went to the store at 6am to get some. So good.
Ugh I just got my hair cut and the girl next to me was getting color. I wanted to barf and my head was spinning. Thankfully, I only needed a trim, so I was out of there in 20 minutes, but now I'm paranoid. I know fumes from hair color can be bad for the fetus.
It's only a minor concern because it goes into the pregnant person's skin. If you were in a tiny room inhaling nothing but fumes for hours maybe it would be something to worry about otherwise I think you're ok
I dyed my hair several times while pregnant with dd. I just got air and didn't leave the dye in longer than the package said.
Zombie day over here. Woke up 4 times last night to pee (and eat!). Have been waking up at 4AM starving every day this week. Then unable to fall back asleep once I'm back in bed. Doesn't help that I'm on day 10 of a 15 day stretch of work without a day off either...not to mention having to be here 10 plus hours each of those days. Wah!
Also experiencing round ligament pain (at least that is what I think it is -- right side only, sharp zaps randomly throughout the day).
If it's pasteurized you can eat it...I found a pasteurized Gorgonzola at the store the other day and made that into a dressing -- just mix with greek yogurt, a little mayo (optional), and thin it out with either water, vinegar or a bit of milk (any variety even buttermilk will do).
I am super happy today. I has Pseudo Cushing's Syndrome before I got pregnant. While my cortisol levels were high a lot of my hair fell out...now my hair is growing back! Super happy! Yays!
Anyone else have extremely tender skin? Finding things to wear has become a tearful event because everything seems to rough on my skin. But, everything has become a tearful event anyway.

I've been saying this to my mom. With DS, I had virtually no symptoms until the very end and I was just so happy to be pregnant. Plus, DS has been such an easy-going child. With this one, well it's already giving me problems. If this is a sign of things to come then I'm in for a rough ride.
Re: Wednesday symptoms, whining, and more!
Nightly pees are increasing from 1 to 2. Super.
Hoping for a day free of nausea. We'll see.
@ashcody2 I am now 12 weeks and my nausea defitniely decreased after about 10 1/2 weeks so maybe yours will stay away!

That's a relief.
