Most people are near 3rd Tri. This is posters first post? Profile shot of baby asking boy or girl at 12 weeks? Yep seems legit.

I don't think you're in the right place, You can't possibly be due in October if you've just had your 12 week scan.

FYI, no idea whether that's a boy or girl and I doubt anyone else here will either as we are not trained to read ultrasounds.

Oh and you can't actually tell the sex at the 12 week scan, it's too early.

I'm sorry, but 12 weeks is too early to tell. Typically a 20 week scan is best.

Gender scans can't be done until at least 15 weeks. I'd try the chinese gender chart (it's weird but it's scary accurate).

OP why are you posting a 12 week scan...Most of us here are 25-29 weeks (give or take).

From these scans there is no way to tell the sex of the baby. 1) they are from 12 weeks and that is too early to tell and 2) they are not of the baby's genital area and 3) most importantly, none of us are ultrasound techs, so there is no way we would know for sure either. As exciting as finding out the sex is, as long as the baby is healthy, that is all that matters!

have you had another scan since then? You're probably best to ask your doctor. It's too early to see on a 12 week scan I think.

Unfortunately if that's the law then there is little we can do to help. Is there a specific reason you have decided you want to know now when this scan was taken 16 weeks ago?

I'm just confused. If you're team green (which I'm assuming all women in India are, by default), why are you asking us?
I don't mean for that to be rude but it's just a bit of a head scratcher...

PEOPLE! She is showing her 12 week scan and asking us to give opinions (maybe based on ramzi method or whatever we were doing back then). She doesn't get a gender scan in India and she's due in October. So many women were posting theirs back in April asking for guesses just for fun!!!

No need to WK. OP handled herself just perfectly and we don't do "gender scans" here either.
We do anatomy scans to look at various organs and body parts to ensure the health of the baby.
You can however have a boutique ultrasound to determine the SEX of your baby.

Really? It was probably just a coincidence that mine was right, I mean it's 50/50 either way so I guess it's right half of the time! Haha!
