Goodbye, I guess trigger warning

Yesterday, we celebrated DD's second birthday with our parents and sisters. I had been looking forward to this a lot, we were supposed to tell them. Unfortunately, I started bleeding before the party started. We had been staying at my inlaws' place. MIL is a nurse/midwife, so I told her and in the end we decided to wait it out, since we weren't close to home, the hospital was running on a holiday schedule and there was little we could do anyway. Plus, I didn't want to take this from DD.

It was the worst. The bleeding is very much like menstruating, I'm having cramps and lower back pain, so I don't have any hope left. I'm truly devastated. Seeing my doctor this afternoon. I'll keep you updated, but I guess this is goodbye. And you were such a nice group! I was looking forward to get to know you better.

Thank you very much for your kind words, it means a lot to me.

Unfortunately, this pregnancy is not viable. It may or may not be ectopic, we're still hoping to rule that out. We are sure there won't be a good outcome though. So this is goodbye.
