Any successful VBACS here or moms who are gonna try?

With DS, I went into labor on my own and was admitted early because I was so far from the hospital. I labored for around 12 hours before they decided to do an emergency c-section because DS's vitals kept dropping during contractions. Turned out the cord was wrapped around his neck twice and his foot. He came out with an apgar of 2 but quickly recovered. I assumed they'd make me do a c-section because I had one before, but the doc says that since it was due to fetal distress and not any health problems on my part, I could choose. I was really tempted to just do the c-section again because it's what I'm familiar with, but the differences in hospital stay make me want to try for a VBAC. We'll see, I guess.

    There is a thread a couple pages back called VBAC mamas check in that I'd suggest taking a look through, but yes to answer your question there are quite a few of us on here who are planning TOLAC and VBAC hopeful, myself included.

    There are quite a few VBAC mamas here, we've got a checkin every once and a while. It sounds like you're an excellent canidate!
