  • Yay for spam threads! Just caught up on yesterdays. Sciatic nerve pain can suck it. I am so uncomfortable all day (wahhh!). Also morning sickness is hitting this week so sorry for being whiney.

  • We are going to buy a new fridge. When we moved into our new house it leaked, had no door shelves and was missing a drawer. Well last week I kicked my foot (accidentally) through the other drawer because it wouldn't close right. Apparently, no drawers was the last straw since we have been putting up with the other stuff for 9 months now.

We have to buy a new fridge before we move at the end of August and I'm kind of dreading it. I know it will last several years but I have a hard time paying a lot of money for appliances. And of course the only ones I like are the most expensive ones 8-|

  • I'm taking anatomy & physiology I as a summer intensive and my brains are about to ooze out of my ears. I'm having to memorize things students would normally have a whole week to learn- I mean we're talking hundreds of things each night. I'm at the point where it makes me fee sick just thinking about it (of course some of that could also be due to the thought of having to smell that stinkin formaldehyde every day). Only a week and 2 days, 4 tests to go though. I can do this!!???

If you're moving at the end of August, wait for Labor Day sales :) we just saved a ton on appliances over 4th of July sales

I really wish we could wait that long! The house won't have a refrigerator in it and we're moving from an apartment, so can't take it with us. We'd need it delivered no later than the 29th, so we'll probably have to buy around mid-August.
I wish back to school sales included kitchen appliances.

  • @fwtx5815 you might be ok(??).  I know with Black Friday sales, all of the appliance people told us they start at the beginning of November, so maybe they'll start mid August?

  • I'm going to sounds super whiney and spoiled here, but I just want my house to be done!!  We've been living with my in-laws since the beginning of April and it won't be done until October (we are building and we knew it would be a long haul).  We had a month of delay because the entire month of May was rainy.  We've picked out all of the finishes and appliances.  I WANT IT DONE!!!  I'm tired of living in the basement.  We have a great relationship with them but it's hard to live with anyone for that long!!  (But I am thankful for the help while I'm feeling ultra poopy - she watches our boys during the day)

I have a Vitamix - it's in storage.  I love it.  We bought mother in law a Blendtec as a thank you for letting us live there.  I used it this morning for the first time and I fell in love.  Sooooo I might buy a Blendtec for us and sell our Vitamix when it's out of storage.  See?  Spoiled!

I just want to sleep through the next 7 weeks until the morning sickness is done.

  • I have a miscellaneous complaint:
When women make comments about how it's expected that other women cause drama, as if our sex organs have pre-determined our penchant for stirring shit up.
It's sexist and bs and I don't like it. Men have "drama" too. They have disagreements over the Internet also.
Especially when a woman make these comments, all I can think is how it's a shame she doesn't think more highly of her fellow vagina-having humans.

Forget buying a refrigerator. I hate paying for toilet paper. Necessary but so expensive for something to wipe with.

  • @fwtx5815 I also hate spending the money (obviously since I put up with it leaking for 9 months), but dh's parents offered to split half the cost for an anniversary gift and there was just no excuse after that lol. I just bought ours at the Sears outlet. I highly recommend if you have one near you. They actually had a really nice side by stainless steel fridge for 400$ (minor cosmetic damage on the side). Unfortunately we have counter and cabinet to side and above so it wouldn't fit. We did however buy a new kenmore 21 cf which is 3 cubic feet bigger than what we had for less than 600$. So I am happy.
  • Lol. I watch PLL too :) hopefully in four episodes we will find out who A is!
  • Another pll fan and I totally think Sara is Bethany and she is teamed up with Charles. We better find out!

Ew, no.... Spam has NEVER sounded good!!! Lol
  • I've spent the last three days trying to figure out how to get health insurance from now until September. My insurance from my last job lapsed and the insurance from my new job doesn't kick in until September 1st. I literally spent hours trying to figure out how to pay for the 2 appointments I have scheduled without going broke. My husband makes $50 too much for me to get medicaid and there's nothing my company can do to help me.

The most frustrating part. I can see Canada from my house. If I was on the other side of the river....all my healthcare would be free and I'd get WAY longer maternity leave!!

    This is how I feel!!!

I watch PLL too! Time to wrap it up! I want to move on with my life. Who is A?!!!?!
  • I watch PLL, too, but I'm only at the beginning of season 3. I need to catch up, but all I seem to watch on TV anymore is HGTV....I really want to move!!!
  • All the PLL fans, you know the series is based off of books, right? I know who A is! If the tv series follows the books.

  • No spoilers please @Hullabaloo2016! Lol, yes I am aware it is also a book series. I'm currently reading the Game of Thrones books (on a Clash of Kings so quite a ways to go) so no plans on starting it either. PLL is more of a guilty pleasure that I indulge in on Netflix from time to time.

You guys ever watch shows and just keep watching because you feel like you've invested so much time that you have to keep going?

    What....just me??

  • My DH and I stopped watching Lost when there were about three or four episodes left. Then, about a year later, I decided I couldn't leave it like that and we watched it all. I wish I wouldn't have wasted the time. I did love the first few seasons though. I loved Desmond!

I believe the problem with COBRA is it's typically $$$$ from my experience.

It was WAY too expensive for 6 weeks. Like almost as much as my rent and there was no way I could afford it. I didn't know I was pregnant and now it's too late.
