I'm trying to drink more water, but every time I set my glass down, my cat appears out of no where and starts drinking it.
Apparently our cats learned the same behavior. Mine give me the dirtiest looks if I see them coming and move/cover my water... I've switched to using my water bottle during the day because it has a lid...

I feel kinda depressed lately.. I think its cause I've lost a few "friends" lately because I stopped going out and partying. It's sad to realize they were only around because I liked the bar scene.. But its kinda getting to me realizing I don't have any true friends these days. No one has texted or called me and my emotions are already going crazy these days. I honestly can't wait till the mommy classes start and I maybe can meet friends that way.
Sorry about this but I mostly feel the same. Even my mommy friends and I barely talk or get together. We all stay so busy working full time and taking care of kids/home. I would love to say it gets better but I think mostly you just get use to it. Or find online friends.

This!! I'm totally in the same boat as you right now, i have one friend i went to school with who is also pregnant and she will text me frequently, but that's it! And she lives 4 hours away from me..

Yeah i totally know what ya mean! i have pregnant "friends" on FB but no one i can really just feel comfortable with calling up randomly. maybe that'll change once we finally announce.. Also I'm so with ya on the long distance friend thing. The only girl who i consider my close friend from high school that i've managed to keep in touch with lives across country so it's really hard to be able to connect with her on more than just a phone call level. who knows though, maybe once baby is here i can start play dates and trying to connect that way.. but i've always been super shy so who knows..

I totally get that! I think it's cause I work freelance and am in but of a lull right now with work that i have a lot free time to think and stew about it. Plus we haven't even had a sonogram mid early June so I have been waiting and waiting until next monday when we finally will have another sonogram to make sure everything's okay.. then finally start getting more prepared and am able to do more to get ready for LO.

Whine of the day: flea bites!! Along my legs and feet. I have three dogs and a cat and for some reason since I've gotten my new rug in my room they love to lay on it! I vacuumed and washed all my sheets and clothes. Keeping my door shut so they're not allowed in. I have 7 bites on my left leg and 5 on my right.
Also random question - I see my OB on Monday (next week) and assume this is normal for pregnancy - but the area under one armpit is swollen. It's not hard, tender, painful or anything, just looks poofy. I'm guessing its related to all the breast changes associated with pregnancy - but if anyone has other thoughts, I'm curious, but not too concerned.
Either that or a slightly swollen lymph node. If it isnt hurting and your not running a fever I would just ask monday during your appt.
The exhaustion. Oh the exhaustion! There isn't a day this week that I haven't fallen asleep at my desk at work. And the workload has been heavy. You'd think that would keep me awake. Bumping now to try to wake up.
Whine: my selection of non-maternity bloat-concealing dresses is dwindling. Getting an outfit together for the day that won't cause suspicion at work sends me into a mild panic. Coworkers have been very up in my business trying to figure out if I'm pregnant. I almost don't want to tell them just because it's so annoying. Unfortunately the Blump does not feel the same way.
My coworker just heated something up in the microwave that smells like cat food, so now the whole office stinks. I'll just be over here dry heaving at my desk if you need me.
Ugh, I can't sleep. I am totally exhausted all of the time but I toss and turn constantly throughout the night. I know it will only get worse. It's making me miserable!
I want a damn doughnut so bad! Like Krispy Kreme or a dunkin donut, but I'm in Germany. While the pastries here are amazing, doughnuts are just not the same! We move back to the states in two weeks and I'm just trying to stay patient until then, but I've never had a craving like this before!

Yuck! It's got to be bad if the fleas are biting you. Just checking, are you treating the dogs and cats with something (frontline plus or similar)? You can't vacuum and wash away a flea infestation.
@lauren0571 no I haven't had the chance to talk to him about it. He was supposed to come to my house after I came back (it's been our plan for weeks) but he asked me and I will copy paste: "Just let me know if I should come by this evening." Before I took the plane and I replied maybe not, we'll see each other some other time" and that's the last I heard from him. I'm really mad, but if I want to talk to him about it I guess I would have to start the conversation, because I don't think he cares enough to... Maybe it's pregnancy hormones but I am so so sad. I don't want to see him at all... And there is a good chance I won't for a bit because I'm leaving again on a trip in 3 days... But we were supposed to go for an ultrasound together in 3 days, but I don't think that matters to him so much.

Just survived our 11 hour car ride back home... Was 40 minutes Away from home when I told my husband to pull over again before I peed my pants. If looks could kill, I'd be dead.
Whine: we announced pregnancy on Facebook on Friday. That same night my co-worker actually called my boss to tell him that I was pregnant. Good thing I told him weeks ago! Cleaning up my "friends" list for sure!

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding and he was upset that you didn't want him to come over? Doesn't excuse the fact that he hung out alone with a girl you've never met before though. I'd have a calm sit-down with him and let him know why it made you uncomfortable. You'll be ok - just emotions running high right now.

Yes. We are planning on ordering Comfortis for them. Can only get it when prescribed by a vet so I need to take all of them in for a prescription
For the girl with the boyfriend - I went through something similar and the guy was just full of crap and seeing someone else. Even if he isn't being unfaithful he is being a terrible boyfriend. You deserve a guy who meets you with flowers after being away, not a douchebag full of excuses. Dump his lame ass so you are single when you meet your dream boat. For language lessons Michel Thomas stuff is really good.
Also my abdomen is tweaking like CRAZY and I wasted the whole weekend sitting around because I was so tired. And I've only exercised about four times since I got pregnant.
