Not DH, but I THINK I may have just felt the first movement myself. I'm 18w tomorrow and I was just sitting on the couch and felt what can be described as a tiny thump, kind of like like a muscle twitch below and to the left off belly button. I felt it once again and that was it. I have no idea what movement feels like, but this wasn't anything I've felt before.
Feeling a little excited since I wasn't expecting anything for another 2 weeks :-)
But some people are just so skinny and in tune with their body. *Disclaimer, not dogging on skinny women. Dogging on people that think they feel baby from OUTSIDE at 15 weeks. You defy science? Neat!

I love this unicorn - he makes me feel giddy!
Wait, I'm having twins and was slender to begin with - crap I should have felt them at conception right?!? Hahah
Second baby, 16.4 weeks and not a damn thing is going on in there. I have felt many muscle twinges, but those are round ligaments, regular ligaments and stretching. I know because they happen in areas where my uterus isn't actually hanging out and knowing what baby kicks feel like from #1 don't think these are those.
Every person is going to believe what they are going to believe, it's sort of like trying to convince someone the sky is blue when they clearly believe it's orange. It just won't happen. Pregnancies are certainly different, body shapes and sizes are different but fetal strength is fetal strength. There are a LOT of layers for that fetus to kick through…
Others can now feel the baby outside, today for the first time actually, at 19 weeks 6 days! **I was also told my placenta is along my back so I would be able to feel the baby move a lot easier & others as well.. the first time I was absolutely positive I felt the baby was at 18 weeks
I'm 17 weeks and counting. I felt flutters last week! I can't wait to feel the first official kick from baby. Just a matter of time and I couldn't be more excited!
I don't really know what popcorn, fluttering, or butterflies (the most popular descriptors I've seen) would feel like in my uterus. Does baby movement ever feel like slightly uncomfortable, but not painful, muscle twitches? Kind of like being pinched several times in a row from the inside?
I've been feeling the baby since 17.5 weeks. At first I didn't really believe it, but then realized it was exactly like people described. It kept getting stronger and stronger. Last week my hand actually moved up with the movement and at that point there was I denying it. The last few days the baby has been very active and today my mom got to feel it. I was shocked! My poor hubby hasn't felt it yet and I feel so bad. Tomorrow is his birthday so I'm praying baby gives him that gift! It really is an amazing feeling. As I was typing this I turned over and changed sides and he/she went to the other side of my belly as I did it. VERY WEIRD!

Also, I wrote this on another board but today after my mom felt it she said, "Yea, I used to describe it as feeling like when chocolate pudding boils." I laughed because I knew right away what she was talking about and that's EXACTLY as I would describe it--as weird as that is!! Lol. But last night and today it's like that with additional poking/prodding. It jolted me at breakfast this morning because it shocked me how much stronger it was than usual!
You will know it when you feel it. The beginning flutters can be missed but after that there's no going back! And yes, it is SLIGHTY uncomfortable but in a really great way haha.
I'm 17 weeks and I think I felt baby fluttering a couple of times. It feels like a cotton ball swab, very soft. My doctor said it was too early but my temperature rose 3 days ago and has remained hotter and it matches perfectly to the day I started feeling it...I'm I imagining things?? Or is it the expectation? ? Thanks
I've been feeling babies movements and little jabs for a few weeks now. I always try to get him to feel but the babes always stops.. Lol so hopefully soon he will be able to.
Almost 19 weeks and dh felt movement for the first time last night. Baby was spazzing out in one spot so dh pushed pretty firm there and said he felt a series of twitches. Then baby gave one definite thump and was gone. It must have turned and left. lol
I am almost 18 weeks and I just started to feel the baby this week on the inside. My husband is so jealous. He wants to feel her too, but I think it will be a while still before he can feel her on the outside.
18w here and I only feel faint movements every once in a while and not even kicks. I only seem to feel when baby is doing a somersault or stretching out. Sometimes I softly put pressure on my belly with my hand to see if I get any feedback from baby, but nothing yet. SO is very eager to feel something, especially after we got crib set up this weekend. It's all feeling more and more real.

I first felt baby in my 15th week... But I'm pretty sure that I'm actually further along than I thought. Where I live they do the first u/s at 18 weeks (I'm currently 16w4d) and so have not been told my estimated due date yet, based on size. My LMP was very light and could have been confused with fertilization, says my doctor. My uterus is measuring higher than normal, according to my FP, and I have quite the pregnancy belly going already.
20 weeks today and he finally felt it last night... In the middle of the night baby boy was kicking up a storm so I just grabbed DH hand and placed it on my Belly and his eyes sprung open so fast! Lol he sure felt it this time! This morning when he woke up he asked if he was dreaming haha
I was up last night around 330 to let my dog out. I got back in bed trying to go back to sleep and had a new sensation below my belly button. I will describe it like bubbles popping. Hmmmm... That's not right. Ok, imagine a pot of thick gravy on the stove going at a very slow boil. And if that was inside me. That's what it felt like. Anyways so that's what I felt and it was new for me. I don't know if it was the baby or what. I realize that the description was quite odd.
I can feel it! 20+2 with my 4th but this is the first time my placenta has been at the front. I've not felt flutters like before but I was just sat with my hand on my bump and felt three kicks on my thumb!!! I'm so excited!!! x
Re: DH felt the baby kick for the first time!! Anyone else get to feel your LO move??

I'm 18 weeks and 4 days, I feel thumps and flutters occasionally when I'm sitting still and driving. I can't wait to feel more
