Re: *****Third Trimester Check In 07/20*****
2) Any appointments this week? Thursday I go for a normal check up. I was hoping that she was head down now but a friend who is an ob nurse checked and shes still head up. ugh.
3) How are you feeling? Honestly? Not good. My emotions are terrible. I'm crying and upset over the dumbest of things. Its like I can't stop myself from being like this. Hormones are a B. Tired, uncomfortable and my feet keep swelling if I do too much... so that's fun.
1. How far along?
-Oy!!!!- 40W+1d
2. Appointment?
- Last Thursday we had another useless appointment. (Still pregnant? -Yerp!- Ok see you later!) We scheduled an appointment this Friday (if he doesn't come sooner) for ultrasound/NST/and possible induction. We would decide then whether to go next door to the birthing center or wait a few more days.
3. How are you feeling?
-OH MY GOSH! Neither us, nor our surrogate, or our midwife can believe we are sitting here after the due date still waiting on our little man's arrival! Our poor surrogate! On one hand we all feel very very fortunate to have such a straightforward and uncomplicated pregnancy up until this point. But she is very very ready to be not pregnant. We are very very ready to meet the new love of our lives. And watching the due date come and go after 4 weeks of playing the "it could be any minute now" game... Please let "soon" come sooner!
2) Any appointments this week? I had my last appt. today, and have an induction/c-section scheduled for this coming Friday. Baby A was head down all along and decided to turn breach. I have induction scheduled for Friday and if he decides to turn head down, then we go ahead with the induction, otherwise it is a c-section. I am already finger tip dilated.
3) How are you feeling? not so good, my left shoulder has been hurting, and I can't get comfortable to sleep. I have been feeling contractions regularly, but not painful.
@KevinandJesse ugh. The waiting. Sucks. Hope she progresses soon!!

2) Any appointments this week? I had an appt yesterday. I gained 40 lbs so far, boo. I am not effaced or dilated, which disappoints me, but I haven't had any contractions, so I guess it's not that surprising.
3) How are you feeling? I feel crappy. My feet and hands are sooo swollen and sore. I have so much pressure on my bladder and my desk is so far from the bathroom. I love all of you for being grumpy pregnant ladies with me. I don't want to pretend this is fabulous.
1) How far along? 30 weeks (Due Sep 26th)
2) Any appointments this week? Two! My OB (Monday) and Maternal Fetal Medicine for (yet another) anatomy scan (Thursday). They aren't quiet...maybe... maybe not... uh... let's try that again... sure if my baby has a minor heart defect. If all goes well, this will be my last anatomy ultrasound. On the other hand, I have made an amazing time line of US from 6 weeks through now.
3) How are you feeling? Lazy and so not ready to go back to my teaching job in a few weeks.
I am 34 weeks 6 days today. I have a prenatal check up on Friday at the birth center where I will deliver. They basically ask you a lot of questions about your pregnancy and you talk about your birth plan. I also have my regular ob appointment on Monday and that will be the beginning of appointments every week. We had our maternity photos taken last night, so I am anxious to see how they turned out. I still feel relatively good, but it's definitely getting harder. I have a lot of contractions that are not comfortable. I also get sore hips and back when I do too much. Sleeping is not like it used to be! The most annoying thing though is my sinuses...I feel so stuffy like I can't breathe and the heat makes it worse
QOTW: I am into attachment parenting, so I read quite a lot about that when my son was a baby. I don't really care for a lot of the baby books out there. They were not that helpful to me once my son was born. I read a lot of blogs. I read a lot of natural birth stories since I am having a med free delivery at a birth center like I did for my last pregnancy.

1) 28 weeks and 4 days
2) we go to the doc today! Just a regular check-in.
3) feeling exhausted. Got back last night at 2 am. We went to the east coast for 9 days to see family and friends while I'm still comfortable flying. The trip back to ca was 14 hours (including driving). Such a good visit, but I need a vacation from my vacation.
* right now I'm reading "the birth partner" (I think that right.) I'm really liking it. It's meant for doulas and partners, but I'm reading it for myself & asking my hubby to read certain parts. I looked for a very long time for something well balanced that would give me education and guidance about everything childbirth-- medicated, non-medicated, cesarean, etc. I just want information and to go in both prepared & open minded. I think this book provides that. It leans toward non-medicated info as far as the amount of text and info devoted to a certain section, but it civets medication and other interventions, giving you pros and cons in a non-judgemental way. I like it!
