Anyone not experiencing m/s?

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I've not had any vomiting for strong nausea. Mostly I have had no appetite or everything just sounds gross. Other than than and exhaustion I've been feeling ok. This could be good of it could mean my baby stopped growing or something to that effect. I have my US this Wednesday but I'm worried. It would help if someone else were having similar symptoms.

Re: Anyone not experiencing m/s?

  • There are a few other threads on this if you search "morning sickness."
If not, here goes: I've had a few waves of nausea spread out over the last 6 weeks, but other than that no issues with MS. I've had 3 U/S so far measuring right on track with a healthy heart rate.
Everyone/every pregnancy is different. Just because MS is a common symptom, doesn't mean it's indicative of a healthy pregnancy!

  • With my DD, my only symptom was fatigue. I had a mmc this year and I had a lot of common pregnancy symptoms including nausea with that pregnancy. Pregnant again, and don't feel at all pregnant. I am glad I don't have any symptoms, but as I approach the time that we lost our angel baby, I am nervous that I still don't feel pregnant at all.
  • I had extreme nausea from weeks eight through 10 1/2 but did not throw up at all. Symptoms have begun to go away now and I'm getting my energy back.
  • I'm pregnant with my fort baby and I have no nausea. Never did with any of my babies. But I do have an appetite. But it's normal for some women.
  • I wouldn't say M/S, but I have constant indigestion and basically burp and puke in mouth several times throughout the day. I am glad I dont have legit heaving, I guess??

This is kinda what I get. Sometimes, I think puking would be better, but in reality probably not.

I just get really nauseas often. Either in the morning, afternoon, evening or at night. Or all of the above. I can't ever predict it and it sucks! But i hate throwing up, so I'll take it. Sometimes i also think just puke and get it over with but it won't make me feel any better. Started around 6 weeks and still goin strong at 10 weeks. Hoping it starts to ease up as i come to the near end of my first tri.

I haven't thrown up, but I've felt nauseous and at times it's hard to eat. I've heard of others not having morning sickness, no big deal. Enjoy it.
  • This is our first and I've had no nausea or MS (thankfully). A few weeks ago I had some light uneasiness in my tummy but other than that it's been good. No food aversions which is also nice. The only thing I find is that when DH makes dinner, I have no desire to eat it. I force myself to because I know I need to, but the desire to eat is lacking.

My only real symptoms so far has been sore breasts/nipples and some occasional pain on my lower abdomen.
  • This is my first pregnancy, I'm carrying twins and at 10w4d I have yet to experience nausea or morning sickness. I've only thrown up twice in my entire life that I can remember, in fact if I did need to throw up I don't think I would know it was coming. I've also never experience sore breasts, now or on my period, and the only common symptom I've had so far has been fatigue. It's reassuring that my dr gives an ultrasound at every visit, it's the only way I actually feel pregnant.
  • Hi :)

I'm 10 weeks now and since the beginning I have not experienced any morning sickness. I have felt sick at times and some days it won't be as bad. Only real symptoms iv had is sore breasts (especially when it's windy or cold) and extreme tiredness. I have also gone off my food somewhat as when I sit down to eat I can't eat as much as I used to and some smells make me gag. I'm still eating so that's a bonus and have my first scan tomorrow so I'm nervous and excited at the same time! Try not to worry as every pregnancy is different and everyone has different symptoms. (even though it's easier said then done)
    Xx
  • With my son who I had 2 years ago, I only felt nauseaus once. This time around I've had nausea more, but still have not physically been sick. I'm 10 weeks right now. Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.
  • Hello ladies! I am now 12 weeks with my first and still experiencing MS but not vomit. My MS comes mostly around 2-4am? I'm wondering if I'm not eating enough dinner.
  • I've had a few bouts of nausea but that's mostly if I have let myself get too hungry. Nothing some ginger ale or 7-up can't fix though.

  • I failed to mentioned that I do have lots of gas. I can't stop burping all day.
  • Yes, I heard ginger ale works but the natural organic ones too avoid too much high fructose.
  • I'm 8 weeks with my first and no real morning sickness. My gag reflex is on high alert, can't do any strong smells and lots of food aversions but no real sickness. I feel a little uneasy queasy when I let myself get too tired, when I don't pay attention to how fatigued I am. But it's been mostly smooth sailing for me!
  • I am almost 11 weeks and I have only have nausea a few times between week 8 and 9 but no actual throwing up. Mine was mostly after I hadn't ate and was too hungry and then right after I ate for the first time that day.
  • I'm pregnant with my fort baby and I have no nausea. Never did with any of my babies. But I do have an appetite. But it's normal for some women.

Same here with baby #4 and no MS. My only real symptom was fatigue with all of my babies. I really don't talk about it much.... I have been given so much grief over it. Kinda sucks but not every pregnant woman experiences the same symptoms. The only times that I have been nauseous were when I needed to eat something.
  • I just have to say that I hate all of you... ;)

  • I'm 10 weeks and have had almost no symptoms besides some bloating and sore breasts. I had an ultrasound a week or so ago and s/he is in there, seemingly healthy with a strong heartbeat of 168.
  • I also have had virtually no sickness. If I'm hungry and don't eat right away I'm a bit queasy and my boobs are a little sore but that's it! We had our ultrasound this week and they moved our due date up a week so now we are 11 weeks. Baby was dancing away in there with a heart rate of 167!
  • I'm nine weeks .. I had awful morning sickness last week but this week I feel so much better. Queezy every once in a while but not throwing up as I was. Breast a little sore and I'm totally exhausted all the time .. Other then that I've been good. I had a ultra sound yesterday (recheck with my low progesterone) and labs drawn and baby is still looking good thank goodness . I was nervous since nausea was gone all of a sudden
  • There are rumors that less morning sickness might mean it's a boy :-) I've had mild nausea but mostly wicked heartburn. I think mine is a boy. No evidence just a feeling.

I had bad nausea w/o vomiting during weeks 5-8, and then very little since. Doppler still detects a strong HB at 11 weeks. Everyone and every pregnancy is different. My mom says she never felt nauseated, for example.

I have had mild queasiness (no morning sickness/vomiting) and I have 2 boys.... And we are assuming this one is too.

Hmmmmmm. I want so badly to believe these anecdotes and old wives tales! I cannot wait to find out! =P~

Edit: I want to be able to trust the indicators for myself without question, that is. Obviously I believe them! ;) but I guess it's fun to speculate.

I doubt it. I had 7 months of morning sickness with both of my boys.
