Do you think I can plead temporary insanity if I bludgeon my boyfriend? I've been away for 6 weeks and I'm coming home today... And yesterday he tells me that he's going over to some girl's house for dinner, that there was supposed to be other people but they all cancelled after he got there... And then he didn't answer my texts for 2 hours... Yay for me, I feel so special, I can just tell how excited he is to have me back...

Oh h no, @miritako that would not fly with me at all.

Today i woke up feeling better, i have been waking up hungry and nauseas at the same time this week. I'm still fatigued if i get a nap in or not. My boobs hate a bra. I'm not enjoying work. Food aversions will be the death of me. I'm trying to get more water in, but it's just so blah. I'm totally craving root beer this week.

I'm allergic/intolerant to aspartame.... Thanks to the the bartender at a wedding on Sat night who thought my Shirly Temples should be made with Diet Cran juice... my GI track has been in knots since... ugh.

other than that - exhausted - perhaps from pregnancy perhaps from travel and being in pain.... hopefully 2nd tri brings some energy so I can get back to working on my thesis...

Whine: It is so dang HOT and HUMID here in Georgia... we are staying inside most days and I am gong stir crazy. That coupled with being exhausted from pregnancy is making one mean mama bear right here.

My boobs are so sore! My 2 yr old toddler punched my boob hard this morning. I screamed from pain and it freaked him out. I felt terrible, but it hurt so badly!

My boobs are sore, I've felt sick and queasy nonstop for the past 48 hours, and I freaked out on my husband and started sobbing uncontrollably when he told me he told his mother, sister, and brother that "we" were pregnant without me there. I know it's his baby too but at the moment I feel that the only good thing coming from this pregnancy is telling people and having them be excited for me seeing as how my body is turning against me! He apologized and held me as I whined about all my symptoms and I know he didn't realize how much I wanted to tell them with him (we both told my parents together), but it still hurts that the moment was taken away from me. For the record this is our second pregnancy after a m/c in March and I'm just struggling with this one going back and forth over whether i'm happy, whether I'm truly ready, whether I should get my hopes up or not...Ugh. Hormones. Sucky. So glad this thread was started to I have somewhere to vent!! The queasiness goes away soon right? RIGHT?!?!

I'll be fine all day and as soon as I lay down in bed at night I'm hit with a headache and nausea. Also the last few mornings I get really low cramping for a few hours after waking. I think it's from holding my pee all night(I don't wake up to pee in the night). I just hope it's not a uti I had them all the time last pregnancy

The heat has been killing me! On top of it being miserable out, the previous homeowners signed up for a program called smart cooling rewards. Basically, on super hot days the power company can cycle your air on and off during peak hours. It was 85 in our house! Not ok.

@Monkeybutt80 I feel your pain. Recently all my two year wants to do is sit on my belly while I'm laying down and always elbows me in the boob. It hurts so much!

As for me, I'm really homesick. My husband is working crazy hours at his new job and I don't feel like I can talk to him about it. I am home all day with my son (I am very grateful for this) but I have no adult communication all day. No one speaks English here and I'm really struggling to learn French.
Woe is me. I really need to get out of this funk.

I thought I was getting my energy back but I've been really exhausted the last few days. I also just almost lost it over trying to write an email at work. I kept accidentally deleting text and having to re write it. Then i somehow made the entire thing disappear and had to start over. Who can't compose an email?! I had to take a breath and regroup.

I'm trying to drink more water, but every time I set my glass down, my cat appears out of no where and starts drinking it.

my AC has been acting up the last few nights, I woke up last night at 1AM drenched in sweat. UGHS!! And I'm so nauseous - sitting at work trying not to throw up.. :-&

@ss456 lol! That is too funny.

When do we stop having to pee every two hours throughout the night? I feel like I never have to pee this much during the day but once I have fallen asleep, I never get to sleep for long.

The nausea and vomiting is finally gone! I actually functioned like a normal human being this past weekend! It has been replaced with fatigue and I feel like I could sleep the entire day. On another note, my toddler is being ridiculous today.

My dog stepped on my nipple once in bed when trying to snuggle with me as I laid on my side. I screamed a very bad word right in his ear. Felt guilty for scaring him, but like you said, it hurt so badly!

Ughhhh I've been hit with insomnia!! The past like 3 days I haven't been able to fall or stay asleep. I blame DH though because he's had insomnia too and being on his phone basically lights up the whole room.

Last week I thought I had a bacterial infection so went in and got tested, came back negative but the Dr. who saw me prescribed me Flagyl anyway - I have been reading up on it and a bunch of ppl have said NOT to take in first tri. and I even double-checked with the pharmacist to make sure it was safe. On the other hand, I was using google to see if anyone else had to take it during pregnancy and am seeing mixed results.

I have no infection, so why was I prescribed this? Would you guys just not take it?

That's really weird. Flagyl is a pretty strong antibiotic, too. I know I've had issues with it causing severe GI problems in the past. If it were me, I wouldn't take it and would call my doctor to clarify why it's being prescribed.

I will give them a call at lunch - it was weird on Fri. when the nurse called, she acted like I could take or leave the prescription. Why prescribe it, if its not necessary to begin with?

I just picked up the RX last night and took the first pill this morning already but I just had a weird feeling and saw and happened to see another thread this morning from awhile back regarding bacterial infections so that sparked my Google research lol. I won't be taking any more until I talk with a Dr. though, thanks for the input!

Exhaustion. I can't manage to get anything done. I am home with my two sons (5&3) and I so need to clean my house. I just can't muster up the energy.

Last night I went to take a nap at about 7:50 and didn't get out of bed until this morning! That would have been fine, but I usually take my prenatal vitamin before bed so I can sleep through the nausea, but since I hadn't I took it this morning . . . been battling the queasyness all day now! I've managed to get through the worst I think without throwing up . . . and I learned my lesson!

Oh hells no. I can not even function when I walk into mine after work and my air is struggling on 78/79. First world probs huh?

Apparently our cats learned the same behavior. Mine give me the dirtiest looks if I see them coming and move/cover my water... I've switched to using my water bottle during the day because it has a lid...

Also random question - I see my OB on Monday (next week) and assume this is normal for pregnancy - but the area under one armpit is swollen. It's not hard, tender, painful or anything, just looks poofy. I'm guessing its related to all the breast changes associated with pregnancy - but if anyone has other thoughts, I'm curious, but not too concerned.

My all day sickness got worse. Nothing like throwing up every day at 1am for 5 weeks straight and having a severe phobia of vomiting. I made it to 12 weeks today hopefully this is the tail end.

@lauren0571 we're going to have to learn Japanese. I have Rosetta Stone but with the exhaustion, morning sickness etc I have no energy to learn it.

Trying to convince DD that nap is necessary today...I feel this is a losing battle. Talk about delay tactics. I want a nap too little lady!

What does heartburn feel like? Is it a stomach/throat thing or can you get chest pain?

Reflux is usually burning in the throat. Heartburn can feel like chest pain for sure. I used to volunteer at a hospital and we got people all the time that thought they were having a heart attack. I was just severe heartburn.

It's just going to get worse as the baby grows. After birth it will just hurt to pee.

Thanks! I was having major chest pain and it went away after I ate so I think I just got heartburn because I waited too long to eat breakfast this morning

I feel kinda depressed lately.. I think its cause I've lost a few "friends" lately because I stopped going out and partying. It's sad to realize they were only around because I liked the bar scene.. But its kinda getting to me realizing I don't have any true friends these days. No one has texted or called me and my emotions are already going crazy these days. I honestly can't wait till the mommy classes start and I maybe can meet friends that way.

This!! I'm totally in the same boat as you right now, i have one friend i went to school with who is also pregnant and she will text me frequently, but that's it! And she lives 4 hours away from me..
