  Don't panic yet. Heartbeats are a tricky thing so early. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I've been there!

  Did they end up finding the heartbeat? I haven't been bleeding or cramping (aside from a little gas). I'm just so confused!?

  Yes, what @amandakeyser519 said! Heart beats are tricky this early and don't lose hope! I'm sorry you're going through the awful waiting part.

  Yeah with my 2nd they finally found it. We did vaginal ultrasounds for the first few times-i hate those! But wanted to monitor me close...

  I'm sorry you're going through this.  The limbo feeling is awful.  Like others said, don't give up hope yet.  I wish I could give you better advice!

  I have my first US on friday morning also at 7 weeks 6 days. I willl be thinking about you and praying for both of us. I'm a ball of nerves over it.

  I have a scan on monday (7w4d) and im terrified. I had one last week becuase of light bleeding and it was too small, just a gestational sac, so now im frantic they wont find a heartbeat. Try and be positive, the other girls are right, early scans can be soo tricky. missed missarriages (dead embryo but no miscarriage symptoms) only happen in about 5% of pregnancies, so odds are on your side!

  Thanks for the positive comments. I'm trying to stay positive but my nerves are taking over. Good luck to the other mommies on their appointments. I'll keep you posted.

  @qtpie638 They moved up my first US to today after blood work showed rising levels but not doubling. I am 7 weeks 3 days (we must be due almost the same day)

  I know its really common not to hear it, so I am not getting my hopes up!

  I just had an intake appt at 7w5d and they said that they won't even try for a heart beat until 9 weeks. I have to wait until mid August for heart and the ultrasound!

  Ok, so I had my ultrasound today and there is a heartbeat We could see it flickering, 137 bpm. 

  
  I am sorry that I could not be of more help. I did ask the US tech if they always see it and she said typically if they can't catch it this early they try again at 9 weeks. 

  
  

  If you have had no bleeding or anything abnormal I would not freak out just yet. For example, My HCG levels did not rise from Friday to Monday which sometimes indicates a problem. That's why i had my US today. What do you know, the baby is fine. I spent my whole night and half day today in panic mode. Not good for our babies!

  
  

  
  

  
  

  Honestly its so stressful no matter what. I find myself still unsatisfied with any answer I get even after seeing the heartbeat (can't hear it, too high of a frequency for baby at this point). I will be happy when there is an 8 lb baby grabbing for my nipples! (ugh, still makes me uncomfortable to think about LOL)
