Why My Pregnant Self is Crying 1/12

I'll pick this one up, because this week I cried a full hour of heaving sobs "because I just really love the dog so much!"

What's got you crying this week?

Re: Why My Pregnant Self is Crying 1/12

  • I've been crying when I get frustrated, which I never do. (That's one of the reasons I decided to keep taking HPTs despite the BFNs I was getting. I never cry! Lol)

  • I've not cried over anything completely nuts yet but I've gotten a little teary with shows/commercials I normally would just be like awww that sweet. I normally am a crier when I get angry so it's been a little more so but really just have had more anxiety than anything which I know isn't good which stresses me out more. Vicious cycle.
  • A facebook acquaintance and his wife just adopted a little boy from China. The pictures of them meeting are complete tear jerkers.
Also, crying because being a working mom is way hard and I hate it. Yesterday I spent dinner sobbing because I was convinced my 10-month-old daughter loves her babysitter more than me.
  • I cried this morning listening to a song on the radio driving to work.  I've also been crying every time someone assures me how happy they are for me about the pregnancy and what a blessing this baby is going to be.

  • Watching parenthood, its self torture really
  • I pulled out my wedding license last night (going to the DMV today), and ugly cried looking at it. I also cried over being out of orange juice this morning.

    I cry Every. Single. Episode.

March 2016 Moms: January Siggy Challenge "Pregnancy Problems"
  • I cried after talking to my dad on the phone telling him when DS's baptism is. God forbid it interfere with his alcoholism. If he needs to drink so much on a Saturday night that he can't make it to 10:30 church on a Sunday then screw him. I shouldn't be surprised but I still got worked up about it. I forgot from last pregnancy when I get upset I throw up. So I threw up for a while, got up because I thought I was done, and then threw up some more all over the bathroom floor. Then I cried again because I had to clean up my mess. It's been a rough morning.

March 2016 Moms: January Siggy Challenge "Pregnancy Problems"
  • I cried last night because my husband kept questioning me on when I wanted him to start dinner (I don't care...whenever you're hungry) how hungry I was (not. I'm nauseated, but need to eat) Despite being nauseated, was I hungry yet (that's when the years started).

Then I cried because I made him feel bad for making me cry... and I know, as annoying as it was, he was really just trying to make me happy.

  • I haven't cried at anything yet, but I did get misty eyed when I was re-watching the video of when I told my husband the news.

I cried at every single episode before I was pregnant, let alone now! I'm gearing up to watch the latest episode of This Is Us, but I know I'm going to be a basket case the whole time.

  • @JessKo08 That absolutely sucks, I'm so sorry. I hope there's a lot of happiness in the rest of your day!

I did not cry during this weeks episode of This Is Us. May the odds be ever in your favor!

  • I slept on my neck funny and now its kinked. I bawled forever this morning.

  • Then I cried because I made him feel bad for making me cry... and I know, as annoying as it was, he was really just trying to make me happy.
Um. Yes. Tuesday night we both entered a vicious cry-cycle. I cannot do that for 34 more weeks.
  • @gavzillaxo I got pretty choked up when I realized I could not enjoy the Chipotle chorizo burrito anymore. I don't totally get why chorizo is on the bad list, but I am sure I will spend MONTHS investigating.
  • Now I'm crying because FI came home with chipotle and redbox movies.

I think it's ok to eat if it's cooked, but definitely go off your best judgement.  :)

  • I wish I had the weepies. I only seem to have the pregnancy rage at this point. So much frustration and temper tantrums from a grown ass woman. Sigh.
  • I cried watching Kubo and the two strings. It was beautiful. Then I cried while reading a novel.
  • Usually I am the ice queen that shows no emotion.

That is so terrible! I am so sorry you have to deal with that stress :(
  • I cry at almost every episode of Chicago Fire. DH is a volunteer firefighter. Ugh. Also I heard the song Babies by David Nail and ugly cried.
  • I totally forgot Kubo was on dish on demand now! Renting it as we speak  :#
  • Literally sobbed at the preview for the new movie about a dog and all of its lives/experiences. SOBBED.

I didn't cry either, and I've cried almost every other time. But I did cry the other night when DH got frustrated with me about something stupid. I have a feeling this is just the beginning.

  • Im crying at everything. Apparently, it's  how I express every emotion now. The same thing happened when I was pregnant with DS too.
  • Right now I'm having a really hard time at work. I am so stressed and emotional and I just can't turn it off.  UGHHHHHH TGIF but I need today to be over.
  • I cried today when my kids went to PE because I have felt SO sick all day and have 18 six year olds needing my constant attention. I need this horrible nausea to go back to night sickness, because this isn't working....

I know! I am always super on top of things and don't forget much and this whole week I'm a hot mess. DH didn't believe me that I think I have pregnancy brain already
  • @HollyGolightly09 I'm a first grade teacher and I'm currently trying not to cry because I'm so frustrated with teaching while feeling this way. I'm having a difficult time being a good teacher when I'm just focused on feeling good. I really want Togo home and cry in my bed. I just don't know how to get through this.

@wellhithen  Exactly! I feel like all of my energy is going to it vomiting and trying to feel somewhat okay, but that doesn't make them any less little and demanding. Today being Friday actually made it a little easier... but Mon-Thurs would be almost unmanageable with how I felt today.
