So, Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year and I love dressing up. This year, I'm really excited about being pregnant on Halloween, but I haven't decided yet what I want to dress up as. Most of the pregnant costumes I've seen online involve belly painting, which is just not going to happen in freezing weather and with all my stretch marks. If baby comes early (I'm due Nov 18), there will definitely be a last-minute errand someone is running to the store to get the baby an outfit!
Anyone have any ideas for halloween costumes? We may even have a get-together if I'm up for it, since I am definitely not going to someone else's party at 37 weeks. I think that will be a last-minute decision for sure.
Re: Halloween Costumes!
I just got a regular costume at Walmart that was stretchy
I found an idea on pinterest that I am using. Paint a T-shirt with a big circle over your belly, where a chain link necklace and attach a barbie with short pigtails.
Miley on her wrecking ball!
Its easy, and kind of funny. I also have to work on Halloween (if I am able) so the costume is dress code appropriate.
Super excited.
Also thinking maybe I could do Juno, although I'd be a pretty tall version!
And my little guy could be here before or after so we will cross that bridge when we get there lol but I was thinking about some cute shirt to wear because if he's not here by then I'll be HUGE.. If he is.. I'm hiding in my bed and watching random movies while my DH passes out candy!!
Edit for spelling..
I'm definitely heading down this route too, except I want to add my art history dorkiness and a dash of nerdfighter too by adding "Ceci n'est pas une lune" in the style of Magritte's famous painting of a pipe (I think it's called the Tyranny of Images...but my brain may have just made that up), which in itself is a neat little reference to The Fault In Our Stars. To be honest I think I might just make myself that T shirt now and wear the ish out of it, regardless of whether it's halloween...
You should totally take a picture to send in for some John Green love!
