In Labor. Freaked out

I started having contractions earlier, then after an hour or so noticed they were pretty regular. Went to the restroom and had some spotting and dr said to come in. Contractions were every four min and cervix was shortening when I arrived. Started mag. 3 hours later and on the max dose of mag, I'm 2cm and 50%. Contractions every three minutes. Got steroids to stay lung development.... now they are just hoping the mag either stops the labor, or slows it enough fir the steroids to work. Only 29 &2 so freaked out a bit....

Wishing you good luck! I can only imagine how you're feeling! Had a friend w twins that that happened to and the mag stopped the contractions for about a month. She was on bed rest though inpatient for the rest of her pregnancy. Both babies and momma are doing great!
