Any mamas planning a workout plan or "diet" after baby is here? I have definitely not been a thoughtful eater throughout my pregnancy and I been have giving into every craving I have (usually chocolate, ice cream, or chick-fil-a). I have put on a lot more weight than I anticipated and would love to shed this baby weight (or at least try) ASAP!
I'm going to let my body recover from birth first of course, but I am way too excited to not have cravings anymore (I have never been someone to like sugary/junk food) and I plan on doing lots of squats, going on walks/runs with my jogger stroller and I've heard that breast feeding helps with the weight loss as well, which I plan on trying, but we'll see how it goes.
Heard great things about the paleo/caveman/primal diet and it seems to work with BF.
What are you planning on doing? I need some motivation as I am someone who HATES working out.
STMs- what worked best for you postpartum?
Re: Postpartum workout/diet?
Of course my workout plan will be rigorous once I'm cleared. I plan to mix up strength training and cardio. So, gym days and T25.

My plan: im still doing barre classes, so my hope is to start that again after im cleared 6 weeks in. Hopefully 8 weeks wont be a long enough break to lose all my muscle! I'll also do walks and play with my toddler ASAP.
I also LOVE isagenix, but its too calorie restrictive and im afraid it will hurt my very touchy milk supply. Last time i ate very healthy and limited dairy because it bothered DS. I did oatmeal with some coconut oil for breakfast, rice and chicken with avocado and watermellon for lunch, and a healthy dinner. I lost most the weight in 3 months! Remember fat is important for your milk, so a low fat diet is bad news.
I'm hoping I can get back into it sooner this time without having supply issues. I still do Zumba 2x a week but when I come back I want to add in weights. I'll probably do the Whole30 again, which we did as a family a few months ago and we felt so good. Hubby lost 20lbs in a month. I have had great results having Shakeology for breakfast in the past, but I don't think that will be enough calories when I'm nursing.
I'm not really a plan or diet type person. Eat clean and keep active. I try to follow the 80/20 rule and get my butt to the gym 5-6 days a week. It's not about losing weight or fitting into size whatever jeans, it just makes me feel good.
