I'm spending the day cleaning! Yesterday I ditched work and got a much needed massage and went shopping for some new pants! it actually feels good to clean though and organize! Thank god for getting my energy back!
It's 92 degrees out, and humid as balls. I have to leave for work in 5 minutes and am pouting about it. It's going to be so miserable. On a positive, we went to a graduation party yesterday and had a blast. MIL and SFIL are going to give us their old minivan in a few weeks and are refusing to take any money for it. I'm so, so, so excited to be a 2 vehicle family again. Being stuck at home when your husband works 50+ hours/week starts to make you go insane.
We just got back from taking DD to the lake. Also hot & humid here and it felt so nice just to wade. We took her to get her used to her new life vest - we got a canoe this past week and are planning to take it out next weekend, and wanted to make sure she had a little idea of what the vest does when she's in the water.
Spent the night in Mammoth last night, and headed to Yosemite this afternoon. Yosemite is my happy place, so I'm zenning already. No hiking Half Dome this year, though. I'm fat camping...lots of snacking, lots of reading, and minimal hiking. I'll be offline for a week, so you ladies be good.
Hot and humid here too (gotta love Midwest summers). Had a super busy day yesterday: cookout for my stepdad's birthday, birthday party for my niece and trivia league semifinals (we got 3rd and qualified for finals). Today, a morning spent finishing the quilt I'm making for my coworker's baby and now to finally relax. Hubs has been gone since Thursday night and won't be back until tomorrow night so I actually get to relax and don't get any guff for not cleaning while I had the weekend "off". Also, I'm a little jealous of this cat right now.
It's hot and miserable here too. I should give up and move out of hellida aka florida. We did a little baby shopping yesterday and took DS to the movies. Our carpet FINALLY gets installed on Tuesday so we are doing all the last minute prep to the room.
I've basically spent my entire weekend pinning nursery ideas to pinterest, buying baby clothes, and doing laundry. I'm just way too excited to go back to work tomorrow... not.
Oh and I binge watched fixer upper because well... I want all her things.
Worked a 12 hour shift yesterday where I only sat for a total of 10 minutes. Working again tonight... And tomorrow night... And the next day. I wanna sleep indefinitely.
Ya'll.. I am 15+6 and today is the second day in a row of no morning sickness!! I've been throwing up, nauseas, and had strong food aversions for 7 weeks. So basically my weekend is:

Isn't it like heaven?? That's how I felt and I've been eating mcdonalds like crazy! Glorious!
Our weekend was nice! We had a benefit bowling tournament about 2 hours north yesterday. Didn't do very well, but we raised a lot of money to go to Bowl for the Cure, which is great!!
Today, DH played golf and I cleaned around the house. Then went out and bought some maternity tops for work. Getting ready to get dinner going and settle in for the rest of the evening!
DH and I took SD and DD to see the Minions movie. We went to a dine-in theater, assuming that would keep DD occupied. Nope. Now I'm sprawled out on the couch watching a LoTR marathon on TNT.
Today was the family picnic at my grandma's nursing home. Outdoors, of course, where it is also hot and humid. Three pregnant girls and two two and a half year olds. It was... Interesting.

Must be hot and humid all over because we are suffering up here in Toronto! We had a surprise party for my aunt yesterday and today I went shopping and bought some new underwear that fit. That in itself makes it a glorious weekend!
We aren't really having an exciting summer since DH is so busy with our home renos every time he is not working.

What part of FL, if you don't mind my asking? I'm in the SW
@Love4littlethings24 it is SO wonderful! I finally understand the rainbows and butterflies second trimester I've been reading about. I've been eating... Everything.. All the foodz!
Yesterday was my MIL's birthday celebration and we found out that she and my FIL are crashing our "Babymoon"! We live in NJ so we're just going to the Jersey Shore for a weekend at the end of August, but still! It's going to be our last trip just the two of us. Apparently when we told them we were going they booked a neighboring hotel (because ours was full) and want to have dinner together every night. REALLY?! No boundaries, no boundaries at all lol.
But I had soft serve ice cream today after sweating my boobs off at a Farmer's Market in 92 degree weather so I have that going for me.
@hailees I seriously woke up one day and didn't feel pregnant anymore! Now I eat anything and everything! Lol second tri is awesome and gives me hope at wanting more children!
@JandJ62914 I would talk to hubs and put my foot down. I've had my fair share of in law issues, most just with MIL but seriously say something. I've done research and read other forums and experiences and if you don't put you foot down now, chances are it'll get worse. I would be so annoyed and no time just the two of you.
DS had a 5 game baseball tournament between Friday night and Saturday night, and I am fried. So I made breakfast for our crew this morning and when our 2yo went down for her nap, I laid down too and we both slept for 4 hours! It was glorious!
@love4littlethings24 Yeah I've talked to him already and he completely agrees and is going to say something. We're trying to come up with a plan of how to word it that's not too harsh. (She already complains every time that we see how how she never sees us...she's quite the drama mama lol.) I would be fine with meeting them for lunch or dinner one day, but I'm not spending all our time with them! Thanks for the advice!!
I actually did stuff this weekend, kind of amazing for me! I'm finally not completely wiped out so I cleaned a whole bunch, DH and I did some major fun shopping yesterday, and today I spent the day at my Mom's visiting with some family and actually swimming outside. It was so nice, such a bummer that I have work tomorrow!
@chipmonster we were in Blue Mountain for the bachelorette weekend! It was insanely hot, heat warnings and random thunder storms, with no break in the heat! Kinda sucked being a preggo. I found that anytime we went out and walked around, if find it hard to breathe. And don't even get me started on how sweaty and gross it was I. The restaurants and bars!
I WAS spending my day by the pool with a mocktail when severe thunderstorms rolled in. Now I'm sitting in my living room with candles and a black TV because my power just went out.
Also I had plans all day to grill me a big, fat, juicy steak but the quarter-sized hail is implying I'm calling a pizza place for delivery.
Today is my last day of a weeklong staycation between my old job and my new. Starting my new job tomorrow which I'm a little nervous about. Still feeling pretty sick but I'm only 12w 3days. At least the new job knows so I don't have to worry about gagging in front of them. Feeling super lazy with no energy so I worry I won't do as well at the new job as I normally would but FX it will fine!
Married DW 08.2013; AI 2x; IUI 6x; IUI #7 05.2015; DD born 2.2016 ; Reciprocal IVF FET #1 on 11.18.2020
This weekend has been pretty excellent! I'm also thrilled to be finally over the sickness and pukey first tri. I have been nom nom noming all the good foods this weekend. Yesterday I made love to some glorious Chick-fil-a, and last night for dinner I made this cajun shrimp dish with melted fontina cheese on it. It was BOMB. I also had panera with DH today. Then, we had Bruster's ice cream this afternoon! Noms. We also (well really DH) painted our guest bathroom, which is the last room in our house that needs to be painted. I painted the rest of the rooms in our house myself pre-preg, except for one other. DH nicely reminded me to not let him get me pregnant again until after any and all necessary paint jobs are completed. He hates painting. We also went to Target and bought some diapers on sale with a gift card. I am trying to buy a little at a time when I see good deals. I am trying to psych myself up to work tomorrow. I work in a pretty abusive, high volume pharmacy. I'm just not sure if I'm feeling the strength to endure. Oh wells...
@Beverly0628 I completely hear you on having to work yourself up to go to work. Your job sounds remarkably like mine. I also work in a high volume pharmacy. You should follow the cynical pharmacist on Facebook. He or she (I haven't figured out which) says things that are exactly how I feel and it gives me a few laughs and helps get me through the day.
I attempted to get errands done (like grocery shopping) however holy heat! Returned promptly to my couch with the glorious AC. Read a little. Napped a little. Me and the hubby cooked up the scraps of what's left in the fridge and snuggled and watched a movie. It's been a lovely lazy Sunday.
@indibidule HA! I LOVES! ) I don't have Facebook, but I can still view the page. I googled it, and there is a blog too! Have you seen the youtube video entitled, McPharmacy?? There is also one called, I'll Pay Cash. They are like computerized cartoons. There is a bunch of similar ones. I die!

So ready for my vacation in September.
I can only imagine!!
I love fiver upper! I wish she came to MD!

But yeah, new underwear!!!!

WHY IS MY LIFE SO HARD?!
