Ahh I just really need assurance. I haven't felt the baby move in a couple days and its freaking me out. I have to go back on Thursday to finish up my anatomy scan because the baby was moving so much. But now there's not anything happening and I don't like it. I just want to feel the baby move so im not freaking out and depressed all week. To go from always feeling it move to nothing is hard for me. I have bad anxiety and I cant take my medicine because there's a chance it could hurt the baby so its not worth it to me. So what are some things I can do to get it moving.
Re: What are your guys tips and tricks for getting the baby to move or wake up?!?
I really dont have anyone to talk to about being pregnant or the concerns I have. The baby's dad doesn't care about the baby only me. And my mom is s having a hard time about me being pregnant still.
I'm going to be creaking out everyday fir the rest of my life about this baby. I just want it to move so I can fall asleep tonight.
My baby was moving like crazy during the anatomy scan and I could only feel half of it.
For me laying down and being very still usually allows me to feel him more. But he still has days where I never notice him. They sleep a lot in there.
Mine is most active overnight so if I sleep well I miss most of the movements
The more active you are the more you're probably lulling them to sleep.
Relax and trust your body. Your baby is fine.
I think the reason everyone is so cool and collective about feeling and not feeling baby move is that they have a precious bundle of joy growing inside of them. That mircale in itself should make you smile and relax!
Good luck!

I didn't realize until my anatomy scan that what I was feeling was movement. They called it a kangaroo baby because it wouldn't stop.
It's such a cool thing to have a baby inside of you.
Ice cold juice, laying on my back (I prop my feet or a hip up a little bit), and DH's loud video game music always wakes her up. And yeah like others said, its totally normal to not feel anything for days at this point (even though I know its hard not to worry!) I remember watching her at the anatomy scan, she was wiggling around SO much and I couldn't feel a thing.
I'm not sure when I felt the first movement because it honestly felt like gas. Still does (if its not a huge "thump" from either her head or butt), but I know in certain areas of my belly its definitely baby, not gas. Also now I can feel her rolling/flipping around, that is SUPER weird.This. A few weeks ago I would have to lie down and concentrate to feel baby. But for about a week now, it's been going insane and seems to have a little pattern. It just changed over night, from little movements to full on scenes from "alien"! I'm 24+2. It will happen and you'll be glued to watching your belly change shape soon!
Or cold orange juice works well for me and my baby is extremely stubborn but the oj works every time
They say laying on the left side is best for baby for circulation and more room (?) Correct me if I'm wrong!
Try a flashlight! We did that with our son and it was a fun little game when he was in my tummy
Don't worry. They are just relaxing in there
Try to relax and find peace of mind in the fact that your baby was moving so much during your anatomy scan!
