anyone use Target brand formula?

I am starting to look at formulas (will be switching over in about a month) and was wondering if anyone used the Target brand.  It seems to be the same as Similac but a lot cheaper. Just curious....

Re: anyone use Target brand formula?

  • I use generic formula and have had no problems with them.  My youngest does better on Walmart generic formula than Target's (it constipates her).

  • I supplement with the Target brand formula.  DD has had no problems with it.  I read the labels on the Target brand and the Enfamil - they're identical.  Here, the Enfamil is $24 a can, and the Target brand is $11.89.  Woohoo!

I currently use Similac Advance Early Shield and will be switching to the Target generic next round of formula.  I ask my pedi and he compared the ingredients and so to go for it.  I had my DS on generic Enfmail from Sams and had no problems there, so I am going to save money by  buying the Target brand.  We gave DS some for a few days and he had no problems with the Target brand at all.

  • i compared the two. enfamil with target, the ingredients are the same. we went with the cheaper brand. I know friends who have used it too and said it was great. with that said we tried 6 yes 6 different formuals before this one stuck and he was ok on it. so thank you target brand!
