I am like a different person compared to my lost pgal post. I've worked with a therapist a lot and started to feel the depression and anxiety lift. Then we hit the nuchal (bad news the first pregnancy) and it went well and I felt so good. Then we heard the heartbeat and I've doppler'd twice. We finally told family and then made a fb announcement. I'm 16w1d and my a/s isn't until 8/21 but I'm feeling so attached to this baby and so positive finally. It's really changed my whole outlook to be able to get this far and celebrate. I think my worries are mostly gone!
I'm so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm feeling the same. Even though the next two weeks will be tough because that's when it ended the first time, I feel more reassured this pregnancy is different and this is going to be it. I feel.....good!

I just have to say if one more person tells me how large I am I'm going to hit them

Came back to work after 3 weeks off for vacation/amnio bed rest and all I hear about is how big I got while I was gone.
    Throat punches are imminent.
  • I haven't commented here in a while so I'll just butt my way back in :) I'm still a nervous wreck but getting better as time goes on. My anatomy scan is Monday. I'm anxious about it, but being optimistic as everything has looked great so far. Starting to feel some flutters and little kicks here and there. I just keep praying we have a healthy baby come December!!

    Thanks everyone!!
and @vera1127 hope your anatomy scan goes smoothly, i love that you're getting to feel flutters already!
  • Hi everyone. First time posting in this board. I miscarried at the beginning of this year and then got pregnant again soon after. I still don't feel like I've moved past it, with every little thing I'm terrified I'm losing this one as well. But I finally felt my first movements today! (17 weeks and 3 days) so that really helped to reassure me. I was cramping terribly yesterday so I was pretty nervous. My husband and I have our next ultrasound on the 27 so we are very excited to see the little one and we are just praying for a healthy baby. Reading all of your guys' posts has been so helpful, thank you all. :)
  • How the crap did I miss this post when it started. I'm a bumpie failure this week. And last week. I'm way to interested in food and sleep.
I saw my regular OB today. It's so strange going from a multiple pregnancy to a singleton- I'm feeling a bit neglected! I now am being. Seen every two weeks (I'm 17.4) and see my MFM once a month. We scheduled the anatomy scan for mid-August at almost 22 weeks. Ugh. I get their reasoning- I'm just feeling impatient!

Glad to see you ladies are doing well. @beccachartier- I am in awe and admiration of your outlook on life and positivity. Hugs to you and your baby.

    @Beckah31 thank you, love!

Any of you girls on the Facebook group? I'm pretty active and I'm on there more than on the app. I gave up FB I'm January but since DS diagnosis I started back so family can be in the loop more easily.
  • No I never got the link or add to it lol

    There's a thread. I'll tag you.
  • No, only because my pregnancy is not fb public, and if I continue thinking the way I am, we won't be until baby arrives. Not because of fear (or not only ;) ) But because I got this brilliant idea to do a Santa themed baby reveal.

@Beckah31 it's a secret group! So no one can search for the group or see anything posted except members which are only invited from the forum. Totally understand, though! We haven't been open on Facebook about our sons diagnosis yet.

    You're so welcome!
  • Oh! Well looky here! I learn something new every day! :) I guess I can join in the fun then. I'm more likely to actually catch the fun!
    Thanks for the info @beccachartier
  • I haven't joined for the same reason that I haven't announced on Facebook either. But I have a couple of great friends on Facebook from my last BMB, one who lost her daughter at 17 weeks like me and just had her rainbow boy two weeks ago!

  • Hey girls. Quick question. Anyone on P17 now or previous pregnancies have an anxiety kind of response to it? I can't decide if it's hormone triggered anxiety or if it's a bit of PTSD.
  • And it seems to pass by the next day or so.
  • Parents are coming down guess I have to act secure and excited because dad and mom want to go baby shopping, I've bought her 2 outfits that's it so far from me, SO has been doing most of the baby shopping
